Yoon Si-Yoon, Jung In-Sun & Park Sung-Hoon cast in tvN drama series “Psychopath Diary”

Yoon Si-Yoon, Jung In-Sun and Park Sung-Hoon are cast in tvN drama series “Psychopath Diary.” The drama series is a mystery-thriller involving temporary amnesia, a serial killer and set at an office in a stock trading company. Yoon Si-Yoon will play meek stock trading company employee Yook Dong-Sik. Jung In-Sun will play Police Officer Sim Bo-Kyung. She accidentally hits Yook Dong-Sik with her car, which causes him to lose his memory. He then mistakenly believes he is a serial killer. Park Sung-Hoon will play stock trading company director Seo In-Woo. He is the real serial killer.

“Psychopath Diary” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Ahn Jae-Hyeon & Oh Yeon-Seo cast in MBC drama series “People with Flaws”

Ahn Jae-Hyeon and Oh Yeon-Seo are cast in MBC drama series “People with Flaws” (literal title). For the drama series, Ahn Jae-Hyeon will play lead male character Lee Kang-Woo. He is a handsome guy, but self-absorbed after being dumped in his past for being ugly. Oh Yeon-Seo will play lead female character Joo Seo-Yeon. She doesn’t like handsome guys due to trouble she experienced by having 3 handsome brothers.

“People with Flaws” first airs November, 2019 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday & Thursday 9PM time slot after “Ha-Roo Found by Chance“).

First script reading for tvN drama series “The Great Show”

First script reading for tvN drama series “The Great Show” (English title), starring Song Seung-Heon & Lee Sun-Bin, took place April, 2019 in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members that attended the first scrip reading included Song Seung-Heon, Lee Sun-Bin, Lim Ju-Hwan, Roh Jeong-Eui, Park Ha-Na, Hyuk (‘VIXX’), Jung Joon-Won, Son Byung-Ho, Lee Won-Jong & Kim Dong-Young. The drama series follows politician Wie Dae-Han (Song Seung-Heon) and his attempt to win an election to become a lawmaker again.

“The Great Show” will first air August 26, 2019 in South Korea.

Seo Kang-Joon & Park Min-Young offered lead roles in JTBC drama series “If the Weather Is Good, I’ll Find You”

Seo Kang-Joon and Park Min-Young have been offered lead roles in new JTBC drama series “If the Weather Is Good, I’ll Find You” (literal title). The romance themed drama series is based on 2018 novel  “Nalssiga Joeumyeon Chajagagesseoyo” by Lee Do-Woo. Currently, both Seo Kang-Joon and Park Min-Young are “positively considering” their offers. If they accept their offers, they will play two people who meet while working at a bookstore.

“If the Weather Is Good, I’ll Find You” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea.

Uhm Ji-Won, Sung Dong-Il & Jo Min-Soo cast in tvN drama series “Method”

Uhm Ji-Won, Sung Dong-Il & Jo Min-Soo are cast in tvN drama series “Method” (literal title). The screenplay for the drama series is written by movie director Yeon Sang-Ho. OCN drama series “Save Me 2” was based on Yeon Sang-Ho’s animation film “The Fake.” The drama series will be directed by Kim Yong-Wan (“Champion“). Story for the drama series will follow a reporter played by Uhm Ji-Won as she investigates a company that seems to have ties to shamanism. Filming for “Method” begins second half of 2019 in South Korea.

First script reading for OCN drama series “The Lies Within”

First script reading for OCN drama series “The Lies Within” (English title), starring Lee Min-Ki & Lee Yoo-Young, took place June, 2019 in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members that attended the first script reading included Lee Min-Ki, Lee You-Young, On Joo-Wan, Lee Joon-Hyuk, Kim Si-Eun, Yun Jong-Seok, Kim Jong-Soo, Yoon Bok-In, Seo Hyun-Woo, Song Young-Chang, Jo Ryun and Kim Hak-Sun. The drama series revolves around Detective Jo Tae-Sik (Lee Min-Ki) and Kim Seo-Hee (Lee Yoo-Young). They try to reveal the truth behind the death of Kim Seo-Hee’s father and save her missing husband.

“The Lies Within” is now scheduled to first air October, 2019 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20 PM time slot after “Strangers From Hell“).

Ep.1 trailer for KBS2 drama series “I Wanna Hear Your Song”

Ep.1 trailer added for KBS2 drama series “I Wanna Hear Your Song” starring Yeon Woo-Jin and Kim Se-Jeong. Ep.1 trailer shows second leads Song Jae-Rim and Park Ji-Yeon in the drama series for the first time. At the 26 second mark of the ep.1 trailer, Kim Se-Jeong’s voice appears and she states in Korean “My memory, which has stopped, began to movie.” Meanwhile, below are still images of Kim Se-Jeong in the drama series.

Group poster & illustrated poster for OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell”

Group poster and illustrated poster added for OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell” (English title) starring Im Si-Wan and Lee Dong-Wook. The group poster features Im Si-Wan and the shady characters that reside around the cheap boarding hall where he moves to. Those shady characters are played by Lee Dong-Wook, Lee Jung-Eun, Lee Hyun-Wook, Park Jong-Hwan and Lee Joong-Ok.  The caption on the group poster states “Here is Hell. A horrific hell created by strangers.” An illustrated poster is also released which can be viewed above and below. The illustrated poster is drawn by Kim Yong-Ki, who is the author of the original webcomic “Taineun Jiokida” which “Strangers From Hell” is based on. The English title has also been confirmed to AsianWiki by tvN that it is “Strangers From Hell.”

Lee Yeon-Hee cast in MBC drama series “The Game: Towards Zero”

Lee Yeon-Hee is cast for the lead female role in MBC drama series “The Game: Towards Zero” (literal title) co-starring TaecYeon (2PM). Lee Yeon-Hee and TaecYeon previously starred together in 2013 movie “Marriage Blue.”

In drama series “The Game: Towards Zero,” Lee Yeon-Hee will play Detective Seo Joon-Young. Her character is composed and she possesses charisma. Internally, she carries an emotional wound from when her father died. Seo Joon-Young works with Kim Tae-Pyeong (TaecYeon) on a serial killer case.

“The Game: Towards Zero” first airs January, 2020 in South Korea.
