First two teaser trailers for tvN drama series “Melting Me Softly”

First two teaser trailers for tvN drama series “Melting Me Softly” starring Ji Chang-Wook and Won Jin-A. The first teaser trailer features Ji Chang-Wook as Ma Dong-Chan and the second teaser trailer features Won Jin-A as Ko Mi-Ran. Teaser trailer #1 starts with Ji Chang-Wook stating “I dreamed of becoming a legend in the broadcasting industry via a freezing human project. 2019? I woke up 20 years later. 20 years.” Teaser trailer #2 has Won Jin-A narrating with “Freezing human being project. I was supposed to be unfrozen 24 hours later … but I woke up 20 years later. What am I supposed to do now?”

Kim Kang-Woo cast in KBS2 drama series “Woman of 9.9 Billion”

Kim Kang-Woo is now cast for the lead male role in KBS2 drama series “Woman of 9.9 Billion” (literal title) co-starring Cho Yeo-Jeong. The duo last worked together in 2012 KBS2 drama series “Lovers of Haeundae.” For “Woman of 9.9 Billion,” Kim Kang-Woo will play ex-detective Kang Tae-Woo. He quit his job as a detective after being falsely accused of accepting a bribe. He tries to find the truth behind the death of his younger sibling and meets Jung Seo-Yeon (Cho Yeo-Jeong).

“Woman of 9.9 Billion” first airs November, 2019 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #2 for SBS drama series “Vagabond”

Teaser trailer #2 added for SBS drama series “Vagabond” starring Lee Seung-Gi and Bae Suzy. Teaser trailer #2 starts with Lee Seung-Gi stating in no uncertain terms “You know what? You picked the wrong person. Whoever you are. Wherever you hide. I will hunt you down to Hell.” Meanwhile, below are new still images from the drama series. The still images are from a scene filmed on a beach in Morocco around October-November, 2018.

Namgung Min & Park Eun-Bin cast in SBS drama series “Stove League”

Namgung Min and Park Eun-Bin are cast in SBS drama series “Stove League” (working title). This is the first time since 2013 MBC drama series “Hur Jun, the Original Story” for Namgung Min and Park Eun-Bin to appear together in a drama series. The title “Stove League” refers to the baseball term “Hot Stove League” A.K.A. baseball’s off-season. In the drama series, Namgung Min will play Baek Seung-Soo. He is the newly hired general manager of professional baseball team Dreams. Park Eun-Bin will play Lee Se-Young. She is the operations manager of the Dreams.

“Stove League” will first air November, 2019  in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Friday & Saturday 10 PM time slot after “Vagabond“).

Teaser trailer #3 and #4 added for tvN drama series “Pegasus Market” (English title) starring Lee Dong-Hwi and Kim Byung-Chul. Both teaser trailer #3 and #4 has Moon Suk-Goo (Lee Dong-Hwi) and Jung Bok-Dong (Kim Byung-Chul) holding auditions for their store ‘Cheonrima Mart.’ Teaser trailer #3 has Kim Byung-Chul stating in Korean “Communication … pass” and then Lee Dong-Hwi stating with surprise “Our mart is weird. Employee is king.” Teaser trailer #4 has Kim Byung-Chul stating “Preparation … pass.” Lee Dong-Hwi then states “Our mart is weird. Employee is king.”

“Pegasus Market” first airs September 20, 2019 in South Korea.

Kim Myung-Soo cast in KBS2 drama series “Welcome”

Kim Myung-Soo (‘INFINITE’) is cast in KBS2 drama series “Welcome” (working & literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Easeowa” by Go A-Ra. In the drama series, Kim Myung-Soo will play Hong-Zo who is a cat. Hong-Zo also has a special ability to change into a man. He helps a woman heal from her emotional wounds. Filming for the drama series will begin in the second half of this year.

“Welcome” is tentatively scheduled to air from March, 2020 in South Korea.

5 character teaser trailers for SBS drama series “VIP”

5 character teaser trailers added for SBS drama series “VIP” starring Jang Na-Ra and Lee Sang-Yoon. The 5 introductory character teaser trailers are of Na Jung-Sun (Jang Na-Ra), Park Sung-Joon (Lee Sang-Yoon), Lee Hyun-A (Lee Chung-Ah), Song Mi-Na (Kwak Sun-Young) and On Yoo-Ri (Pyo Ye-Jin). Each of the teaser trailers ends with the respective actor’s voices and they state in Korean “Private office romance VIP.”

“VIP” is now scheduled to first air October 7, 2019 in South Korea.

Cho Yeo-Jeong cast in KBS2 drama series “Woman of 9.9 Billion”

Cho Yeo-Jeong is cast for the lead female role in KBS2 drama series “Woman of 9.9 Billion” (literal title). Actor Kim Kang-Woo is still “positively considering” an offer to play the lead male character. Cho Yeo-Jeong in “Woman of 9.9 Billion” will play Jung Seo-Yeon. Her character after living a difficult life comes in possession of 99 billion won (about $9 million USD). Drama series will be directed by Kim Young-Jo (“Cinderella’s Sister“) and scripted by Han Ji-Hoon (“White Nights“).

“Woman of 9.9 Billion” first airs November, 2019 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday & Thursday 10PM time slot after “When the Camellia Blooms“).

Two main posters & a teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Miss Lee” (English title) starring Hyeri and Kim Sang-Kyung. Caption on the teaser poster below states in Korean “What the strong company is the one that holds out.” The drama series follows a young woman played by Hyeri who becomes the CEO of an electronics company teetering on bankruptcy.

“Miss Lee” will first air September 25, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Wednesday & Thursday 9:30PM time slot after “When the Devil Calls Your Name“).
