Park Ha-Sun cast in MBC drama series “Black Sun”

Park Ha-Sun is cast for the lead female role in MBC drama series “Black Sun,” co-starring Namkoong Min. Actress Kim Ji-Eun is also cast to play supporting character. The drama series revolves around a crime information center team. Park Ha-Sun will play Seo Soo-Yeon, who is the leader of the crime information center team. Her relationship with former NIS agent Han Ji-Hyuk (Namkoong Min) is not clear.

“Black Sun” will air sometime during summer, 2021 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer added for JTBC drama special “Missing Child” starring Park Hyuk-Kwon & Jang So-Yeon. The teaser trailer begins with Park Hyuk-Kwon stating “I am his father. There’s no way I can’t recognize my son’s face. I have been looking for him over 10 years. Please” and (0:26) “It’s you Sung-Min right? I’m your father.”  

“Missing Child” consists of 2 episodes and will air March 22 & 23, 2021 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #3 for tvN drama “Navillera”

Teaser trailer #3 added for tvN drama series “Navillera” starring Park In-Hwan & Song Kang. Captions in teaser trailer #3 state (0:10) “Seventy, began challenge” and (0:17) “23, Wandering began.” Narration has Park In-Hwan stating at the beginning of the teaser “I’ve never done what I wanted to do,” followed by Song Kang’s voice (0:09) “I don’t know if what you said is cursed, but I don’t live well. I dont know how to live my life. I don’t know whether I have a tomorrow or not,” (0:18) Park In-Hwan “Chae-Rok, there’s only one life. So this time is precious to me,”

Seo Kang-Joon offered lead role in drama “Zero (0)”

Seo Kang-Joon has been offered the lead male role in new drama series “Zero (0).” Currently, Seo Kang-Joon is considering the offer. The drama series is scripted as a sci-fi chase thriller. Khan Lee (“The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful“) will direct the drama series and the screenplay will be written by Lee Soo-Yeon (“Stranger“/”Stranger 2“). Other details like plot details, broadcasting station, other castings has not yet been decided.

As soon as casting is finished, filming is expected to start for “Zero (0).”

Lee Jae-In cast in SBS drama series “Racket Boys”

Lee Jae-In is cast for the lead female role in SBS drama series “Racket Boys” (literal title) co-starring Oh Na-Ra. Lee Jae-In plays student Han Se-Yoon. She dreams of becoming the youngest member of the national badminton team. Her school’s badminton coach is Ra Young-Ja (Oh Na-Ra).

 “Racket Boys” will first air May, 2021 in South Korea and will also be available to stream on Netflix.

Airing of KBS2 drama “Dear M” postponed

Airing of KBS2 drama series “Dear M,” starring Park Hye-Soo, Roh Jeong-Eui, & Woo Da-Vi, has been postponed due to numerous bullying complaints against actress Park Hye-Soo from when she attended middle school, high school, and college. Park Hye-Soo’s management company Studio Santa Claus has denied the accusations and stated taht they intend sue, but the accusers have insisted they were victims of Park Hye-Soo’s violent bullying. Prior to the bullying scandal, “Dear M” was scheduled to first air February 26, 2021 in South Korea.

The new air date of “Dear M” will be announced at a later date. Filming for the drama series began October, 2020 and about 80% of the filming has been completed.

Teaser trailer #2 and teaser poster added for JTBC drama series “Law School” starring Kim Myung-Min & Ryoo Hye-Young. The teaser trailer, featuring Kim Myung-Min as Professor Yang Jong-Hoon, starts off with Ahn Nae-Sang stating “Yang Jong-Hoon is impressive as a professor, but prosecutor is his vocation.” At the 13 second mark, Kim Myung-Min states “Instead, I became to have a goal. Even though I can not produce a good legal professional as a professor, I won’t produce problematic legal professional.”

“Law School” is now scheduled to first air April, 2021 in South Korea (takes over JTBC’s Wednesday & Thursday 9PM time slot after “Sisyphus: The Myth“).
