Ep.1 trailer added for tvN drama series “My Roommate Is A Gumiho” starring Jang Ki-Yong & Hyeri. Ep.1 trailer has dialogue that goes (0:01) Hyeri “Who are you?” (0:02) Jang Ki-Yong “My introduction is late. I am a gumiho,” (0:06) Jang Ki-Yong “Yesterday you swallowed my bead. Main cast announced for TV Chosun drama “Uncle”

Oh Jung-Se, Jeon Hye-Jin, Park Sun-Young, Lee Sang-Woo, and Hwang Woo Seul Hye are cast in TV Chosun drama series “Uncle.” The drama series is a remake of U.K. sitcom “Uncle” starring Nick Helm and Elliot Speller-Gillott. Oh Jung-Se will play lead character Wang Joon-Hyeok. His life is in the pits, but he begins to take of his nephew.

“Uncle” will air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Two teaser trailers for tvN drama “Voice 4”

First two teaser trailers added for tvN drama series “Voice 4” starring Lee Ha-Na & Song Seung-Heon. The first teaser trailer is a “trauma” version that shows Emergency Call Center Leader Kang Kwon-Joo’s (Lee Ha-Na) past crisis cases that she faced. The second teaser trailer is a “villain” version that shows villains from past seasons including Mo Tae-Goo (Kim Jae-Wook), Bang Je-Soo (Kwon Yool) and Masayuki Kaneki (Park Byung-Eun). 

“Voice 4” first airs June, 2021 on tvN (prior seasons aired on its sister network OCN).

Teaser trailer for KBS2 drama “Blue Spring From A Distance”

First teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Blue Spring From A Distance” starring Park Ji-Hoon, Kang Min-Ah, & Lee Sin-Young. Drama series is based on webcomic “Meorliseo Bomyun Peureun Bom” by Ji Nyoong. The teaser trailer begins with captions that state  “Their youth story which looks like spring from the distance. But, if you look at them closely it’s different.” Meanwhile, above and below are still images of Park Ji-Hoon & Kang Min-Ah. 

“Blue Spring From A Distance” first airs June 14, 2021 in South Korea.

First two teaser posters for tvN drama “Voice 4”

Here’s the first two teaser posters for tvN drama series “Voice 4” starring Lee Ha-Na & Song Seung-Heon. Caption on the teaser poster teases “Once again, the phones for the golden time team rings.” Meanwhile, the drama series will air on tvN, instead of its sister network OCN which aired the previous 3 seasons. “Voice 4” will also consist of 14 episodes.

“Voice 4” will air from June, 2021 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer for JTBC drama “Nevertheless”

First teaser trailer for JTBC drama series “Nevertheless” starring Song Kang & Han So-Hee. The brief teaser trailer shows the two main characters Park Jae-Eon (Song Kang) & Yoo Na-Bi (Han So-Hee). The opening shot prominently displays a butterfly tattoo on the back of Park Jae-Eon’s neck. Coincidentally, Yoo Na-Bi’s first name of “Na-Bi” also means butterfly in Korean.

“Nevertheless” first airs June 19, 2021 in South Korea.

Ji Hyun-Woo & Lee Se-Hee cast in KBS2 drama”Gentleman and Young Lady”

Ji Hyun-Woo and Lee Se-Hee are cast in KBS2 weekend drama series “Gentleman and Young Lady” (literal title). For Lee Se-Hee, she was selected to play the lead female character after going through auditions with 500 other participants. She most recently played a villain high school student in JTBC drama series “Live On.” In “Gentleman and Young Lady,” Ji Hyun-Woo will play Lee Young-Kook. He is a father of 3 and a widower. Lee Se-Hee will play Park Dan-Dan. She begins to work as a live-in tutor for Lee Young-Kook’s children.

“Gentleman and Young Lady” will first air September, 2021 (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 7:55 PM time slot after “Revolutionary Sisters“).

See list of winners & nominees at the 2021 BaekSang Arts Awards

See list of winners and nominees at the 2021 BaekSang Arts Awards, that just concluded in Seoul, South Korea. On the feature film side, Director Lee Joon-Ik won the Grand Prize for “The Book of Fish” and “Samjin Company English Class” won the Best Film award. On the drama series side, JTBC drama series “Beyond Evil” was the bigger winner with awards for “Best Drama,” “Best Screenplay,” and “Best Actor” (Shin Ha-Kyun).
