Ha Jung-Woo, Hwang Jung-Min, Jo Woo-Jin, Yoo Yeon-Seok and Park Hae-Soo are all cast in Netflix drama series “Suriname” (working title). Also making his drama series directorial debut is Yoon Jong-Bin. He previously worked with Ha Jung-Woo and Hwang Jung-Min in his movies like “Nameless Gangster: Rules of The Time” and “The Spy Gone North.” The screenplay is based on true events and will revolve around the drug trade with Ha Jung-Woo playing Kang In-Gu and Hwang Jung-Min playing drug king Jeon Yo-Hwan. Jo Woo-Jin will plays Byeon Ki-Tae. He works for drug king Jeon Yo-Hwan. Yoo Yeon-Seok will play David Park. He is the legal advisor to Jeon Yo-Hwan. Park Hae-Soo will play Choi Chang-Ho. He is the team leader for the U.S branch of the South Korean NIS. He works with Kang In-Gu to catch drug king Jeon Yo-Hwan.
“Suriname” will stream on Netflix, but release date has not yet been decided.

Song Joong-Ki has been offered the lead role in drama series “The Chaebol’s Youngest Son” (literal title). The drama series is based on web novel “Chaeboljib Maknaeadeul” by San Kyeong. Jung Dae-Yoon (“The King 2hearts“) will direct the drama series and screenplay adaptation will be written by Kim Tae-Hee (“Designated Survivor: 60 Days“). The script will follow a man who is falsely accused of embezzlement and then killed, but comes back in the body of his killer.
Currently, JTBC is in discussions to air the drama series.

Teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “So Not Worth It” starring Park Se-Wan, Shin Hyun-Seung, Choi Young-Jae, Minnie, & Han Hyun-Min. The drama series is set at Daehan University and its international dormitory. The teaser trailer shows campus life for the international students.

Ong Seong-Wu is cast in KakaoTV drama series “Shall We Have a Cup of Coffee?” (literal title). The drama series is based on comic “Coffee Hanjan Halggayo?” by Huh Young-Man (“Tazza: The High Rollers“). The screenplay will have Ong Seung-Wu playing Kang Ko-Bi. He is a passionate rookie barista and begins learning under a master coffee maker. Filming for the drama series will begin June, 2021.
“Shall We Have a Cup of Coffee?” will consist of 12 episodes and will air sometime during this year.
