Teaser trailer for movie “Ichigo no Uta”

Teaser trailer added for movie “Ichigo no Uta” starring Yutaro Furutachi and Shizuka Ishibashi. Movie is based on a novel “Ichigo no Uta” by Yoshikazu Okada and Kazunobu Mineta from punk rock band Ging Nang Boyz. The novel itself is based on 7 songs from the Ging Nang Boyz. Not so surprisingly, the teaser trailer also reveal’s the theme song for the film which is “Ichigo no Uta” by “Ging Nang Boyz.” The song was written by Kazunobu Mineta for the film.

“Ichigo no Uta” is now set for release July 5, 2019 in Japan.

Takeru Satoh cast in live-action two part film “Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter”

Takeru Satoh is cast in live-action film “Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter” (working title) which will consists of two parts. The film is based on manga series “Rurouni Kenshin: Junchuhen” by Nobuhiro Watsuki and follows 2012 film “Rurouni Kenshin,” 2014 film “Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno” and 2014 film “Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends.” Keishi Ohtomo will return to direct the two part film. Filming for “Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter” began back in November, 2018 and is scheduled to finish May, 2019. Both “Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter” films will be released during summer, 2010 in succession.

Serena Motola cast in movie “Wind’s Telephone”

Serena Motola is cast in movie “Wind’s Telephone” (literal title of “Kaze no Denwa”). Also cast in major supporting roles are Hidetoshi Nishijima, Tomokazu Miura and Toshiyuki Nishida. The film is motivated by a true story. A man named Itaru Sasaki placed an empty phone booth in his garden because he wanted to talk to a cousin who died a year earlier. Then the next year, the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami hit the area. Many more people began visiting the phone booth to mourn those that passed away in that disaster. Movie will be directed by Nobuhiro Suwa.

Filming for “Wind’s Telephone” will begin April, 2019 in JApan.

Trailer and poster for live-action film “Tokyo Ghoul 2”

Main trailer and poster for live-action film “Tokyo Ghoul 2” starring Masataka Kubota, Shota Matsuda and Maika Yamamoto. The film is based on manga series “Tokyo Ghoul” by Sui Ishida. In the sequel film, Masataka Kubota as half-man & half-ghoul Kaneki begins to live at a coffee house with other ghouls. Caption on the poster states “Eat or be eaten.”

“Tokyo Ghoul 2” will be released July 19, 2019.

Teaser trailer and teaser poster for movie “Hikita-san! Gokainin Desuyo”

Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for movie “Hikita-san! Gokainin Desuyo” starring Yutaka Matsushige and Keiko Kitagawa. Movie is based on essay by “Hikita-san! Gokainin Desuyo” by Kunio Hikita and directed by Toru Hosokawa (“Golden Orchestra“). Caption on the teaser poster states in Japanese “Due to wife’s single word, everything changed.”

“Hikita-san! Gokainin Desuyo” will be released October, 2019 in Japan.
