Kazunari Ninomiya & Satoshi Tsumabuki cast in movie “The Asada Family”

Kazunari Ninomiya and Satoshi Tsumabuki are cast in movie “The Asada Family” (literal title). The film is motivated by photography books “Asadake” and “Album no Chikara” by photographer Masashi Asada. Filming for “The Asada Family” will take place from March, 2019 to April, 2019. The film will be written and directed by Ryota Nakano (“Her Love Boils Bathwater“). Story for “The Asada Family” will follow photographer Masashi Asada (Kazunari Ninomiya) and his family.

“The Asada Family” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer and poster for movie “Parallel World Love Story”

Main trailer and poster added for upcoming romance-mystery film “Parallel World Love Story” starring Yuta Tamamori, Riho Yoshioka and Shota Sometani. Movie is based on 1995 novel “Parallel World Love Story” by Keigo Higashino and directed by Yoshitaka Mori (“Space Brothers“). In addition, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Shitto Sareru Beki Jinsei” by singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada. Theme song “Shitto Sareru Beki Jinsei” is featured in the main trailer.

“Parallel World Love Story” will be released May 31, 2019 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster for live-action film “Kakegurui The Movie”

Main trailer and poster added for live-action film “Kakegurui The Movie” starring Minami Hamabe. The film is based on manga series “Kakegurui” by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura. The live-action film version follows 2018 TBS drama series “Kakegurui” and 2019 TBS drama series “Kakegurui Season 2.” Movie is directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa.

“Kakegurui The Movie” will be released May 3, 2019 in Japan.

Sho Hirano & Kanna Hashimoto cast in live-action film “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War”

Sho Hirano (King & Prince) and Kanna Hashimoto are cast in live-action film “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War.” Movie is based on manga series “Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensaitachi no Renai Zunosen” by Aka Akasaka and directed by Hayato Kawai (“Prince of Legend“). For the film, Sho Hirano will play lead male character Miyuki Shirogane and Kanna Hashimoto will play lead female character Kaguya Shinomiya. They are high school students who try to see which one will confess their feelings for the other person first. Filming for the movie begins March, 2019 and finish April, 2019. Filming will take place in the suburbs of Tokyo

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” will be released September 6, 2019 in Japan.

Teaser poster and more castings announced for movie “Taro the Fool”

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming movie “Taro the Fool” starring newcomer Yosihi. The poster has two additional persons besides Yoishi and they are newly announced cast members Masaki Suda and Taiga. The film is scripted and directed by Tatsushi Omori. Yoishi was first cast for the film after taking part in auditions involving 300 other applicants. Prior to this, 16-year-old Yoishi worked as a model.

“Taro the Fool” will be released sometime this autumn in Japan.
