Main trailer for movie “Don’t Cry, Mr. Ogre” (English title) starring Shinichi Tsutsumi and Yuya Yagira. Movie is based on short story “Sensei” by Kiyoshi Shigematsu and directed by Atsushi Kaneshige (“Kiseki: Sobito of That Day“). The baseball themed film follows a retired high school coach and his desire to help one of his terminally ill former students with unfinished business.

“Don’t Cry, Mr. Ogre” will be released June 14, 2019 in Japan.

Riho Yoshioka cast in movie “Blind Witness”

Riho Yoshioka is cast for the lead role in movie “Blind Witness” (“Mienai Mokugekisha”). Movie is a remake of 2011 South Korean film “Blind” starring Kim Ha-Neul and Yoo Seung-Ho. For “Blind Witness,” Riho Yoshioka will play Natsume Hamanaka. She lost her eyesight and her younger brother in a car accident on the night she graduated from the police university. A few years later, she attempts to find a serial kidnapper. Movie is directed by Junichi Mori (“Laundry“/”Little Forest: Summer & Autumn“).

“Blind Witness” will be released September 20, 2019 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster for movie “Diner”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Diner” starring Tatsuya Fujiwara. The film is based on novel “Diner” by Yumeaki Hirayama (“Cho: Kowai Hanashi“) and directed by Mika Ninagawa. Meanwhile, the trailer reveals that Tina Tamashiro has been cast to play Kanako Oba. She begins to work at the mysterious diner where the movie is set and her character holds a key to the story. Still images below is of Tina Tamashiro as Kanako Oba and Tatsuya Fujiwara as Bombero.

“Diner” will be released July 5, 2019 in Japan.
