Main trailer and poster added for movie “5 Million Dollar Life” starring Ayumu Mochizuki and Anna Yamada. Movie is the first feature length film by Moon Sung-Ho and scripted by Naomi Hiruta. The coming-of-age/road film follows a young man Mirai Takatsuki (Ayumu Mochizuki) who sets out to make 5 million yen and then kill himself.
“5 Million Dollar Life” is now set for release July 20, 2019 in Japan.
Trailer and main poster added for movie “To The Ends of the Earth” starring Atsuko Maeda. Movie is written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The film is also notable in that it was filmed in Uzbekistan. Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s 2013 film “Seventh Code” was his first film shot outside of Japan (that one was filmed in Vladivostok, Russia) and also starred Atsuko Maeda. Meanwhile, the caption on the main poster states “My mind became like a missing child.”

Movie is a sequel to 2018 Fuji TV drama series “The Confidence Man JP” and is set in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song is “Pretender” by “Official HIGE DANdism” and the theme song appears in trailer #2.

Trailer added for horror film “Satsujinki wo Kauonna” starring Rin Asuka, Shoka Oshima, Airi Matsuyama and Hitomi Nakatani. Movie is based on 2010 novel “Satsujinki wo Kau Onna” by Kei Ohishi (“Sweet Whip“) and directed by Hideo Nakata. The film follows a woman with multiple personalites.

Kazunari Ninomiya and Satoshi Tsumabuki are cast in movie “The Asada Family” (literal title). The film is motivated by photography books “Asadake” and “Album no Chikara” by photographer Masashi Asada. Filming for “The Asada Family” will take place from March, 2019 to April, 2019. The film will be written and directed by Ryota Nakano (“Her Love Boils Bathwater“). Story for “The Asada Family” will follow photographer Masashi Asada (Kazunari Ninomiya) and his family.
“The Asada Family” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
