Movie is based on manga series “10 Manbun no 1” by Kaho Miyasaka & directed by Koichiro Miki (“The Travelling Cat Chronicles“). Director Akiko Ohku previously directed movie “Tremble All You Want,” which is also based on a novel by Risa Wataya. In addition, Asami Usuda, Hairi Katagiri and Takuya Wakabayashi have been announced as supporting cast members for the movie.

Ai Yoshikawa will play Uka Ishimori. She is a shy teen girl and falls for a guy with lemon colored hair played by Raul.

The drama series is based on manga series “Kakegurui” by Homura Kawamoto & illustrated by Toru Naomura. The screenplay features an original story supervised by manga writer Homura Kawamoto. Also cast in the film & reprising characters from the first film are Mahiro Takasugi, Aoi Morikawa, Elaiza Ikeda, Yuma Yamoto, Yurika Nakamura, Natsume Mito, Ruka Matsuda, Natsumi Okamoto, Miki Yanagi, Sayuri Matsumura and Akira Onodera.
