The novel and the film is based on the life of Hatao Yamamoto. The film is set after WW2, with Hatao Yamamoto and his fellow Japanese soldiers trying to survive in a concentration camp in Siberia, Russia.

Teaser trailer and teaser posters added for movie “My Broken Mariko” starring Mei Nagano. The film is directed by Yuki Tanada (“One Million Yen and the Nigamushi Woman“) and based on webcomic “My Broken Mariko” by Waka Hirako. The teaser trailer begins with Tomoyo Shiino (Mei Nagano) watching news on TV and learning her best friend Mariko Ikagawa died. Later in the teaser, Tomoyo Shiino is actually stealing her friend’s ashes and jumps out a window. In addition, Nao, Masataka Kubota, Toshinori Omi, and Yo Yoshida are newly announced supporting cast members in the film.
“My Broken Mariko” will be released sometime this autumn in Japan.

Movie is based on essay “Tsuchi wo Kurau Hibi ” by Tsutomu Mizukami and directed by Yuji Nakae (“A Midsummer Night’s Dream“). The film revolves around a writer played by Kenji Sawada, who lives on a mountain and lives a simple zen like life.

Non, Mugi Kadowaki, and Yuko Oshima are cast in live-action film “Three Sisters of Tenmasou.” The film is based on manga series “Tenmasou no Sanshimai: Sky High” by Tsutomu Takahashi and directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (“Azumi“). The fantasy based story is set at an inn that exists between this world and the afterlife, for souls that will return to this world or go to the afterlife. Mugi Kadowaki and Yuko Oshima will play sisters that run the inn and Non will play their younger half-sister. Their younger sister comes to stay at the inn.
“Three Sisters of Tenmasou” will be released October 28, 2022 in Japan.

Movie is based on webcomic “Metamorphose no Engawa” by Kaori Tsurutani and directed by Shunsuke Kariyama (“Humanoid Monster, Bem“). The teaser trailer also features the movie’s theme song “Koresaeareba,” which is performed by Mana Ashida and Nobuko Miyamoto. The song is a cover of “Koresaeareba” by Tjiros.

Yutaka Takenouchi & Takayuki Yamada are cast in movie “Utau Rokunin no Onna.” The movie is scripted and directed by Yoshimasa Ishibashi. Director Yoshimasa Ishibashi and actor Takayuki Yamada previously worked together in 2012 movie “MILOCRORZE – A Love Story,” while actors Yutaka Takenouchi and Takayuki Yamada previously starred together in 2011 movie “Oba: The Last Samurai.” The film will follow two strangers who meet in a strange village and are held captive by six beautiful women.

The teaser trailer begins after a brief 10 second introduction by Non. Narration in the teaser trailer part begins with “Then right away, let’s go!” The main character played by Non has an obsession like interest with fish.

Movie is based on manga series “Kingdom” by Yasuhisa Hara and a sequel to 2019 movie “Kingdom.” New supporting actors have been announced for the film and they are Koichi Sato, Hiroshi Tamaki, & Yusuke Hirayama. The trailer begins with Takao Osawa as Ouki stating “You’ve been standing on the land of death for a while.”

In addition, the first group of supporting cast members have been announced for the film and they are Honoka Matsumoto, Kenshin Uehara, & Noriko Eguchi. The teaser trailer begins with captions that state “One day, met Kuma-san in the forest.” The screenplay is set in a forest that is known for having supernatural phenomena.
