Trailer and poster added for movie “Convenience Story” starring Ryo Narita, Atsuko Maeda, & Seiji Rokkaku. The film is written and directed by Satoshi Miki (“Adrift in Tokyo“). Caption on the poster states “From a convenience store, a little bit different world adventure!” Story for the film follows a man and a woman who meet and fall in love at a convenience store.
“Convenience Story” will be released August 5, 2022 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kato (Ryo Narita) is a young screenwriter, but he has been in a slump. No one gives him attention, even as he plans a movie. One day, he goes to convenience store Liso Mart to buy dog food for his girlfriend’s dog. There, he meets Keiko (Atsuko Maeda), who works at Liso Mart. She is a mysterious married woman.
