Teaser trailer & poster for Netflix movie “In Love and Deep Water”

Teaser trailer and poster for Netflix movie “In Love and Deep Water” starring Ryo Yoshizawa and Aoi Miyazaki. The movie is scripted by Yuji Sakamoto (who recently won the best screenplay award at the Cannes Film Festival for his movie “Monster“) and takes aboard giant cruise ship MSC Bellissima. Below are three new still images of Ryo Yoshizawa as crew ship butler Suguru Ubukata and Aoi Miyazaki as cruise ship passenger Chizuru Banjaku. A murder also takes place aboard the cruise ship.

“In Love and Deep Water” will be available to stream from November 16, 2023.

Teaser trailer and posters added for movie “Lumberjack The Monster” starring Kazuya Kamenashi, Nanao, & Riho Yoshioka. The film is based on 2019 novel “Kaibutsu no Kikori” by Mayusuke Kurai and directed by Takashi Miike (“Shield of Straw“). The film follows a lawyer played by Kazuya Kamenashi, who lacks having empathy for others, as he becomes the target of a masked serial killer who uses an ax to steal his victim’s brain.

Ryosuke Yamada and Minami Hamabe are cast in movie “Silent Love.” The romance film is written and directed by Eiji Uchida (“Lowlife Love“). The film follows the bond between a young man who has stopped speaking completely and a young woman who lost her vision due to an accident. The first teaser trailer for the movie can also be viewed on AsianWiki.

“Silent Love” will be released January, 2024 in Japan.

Trailer and poster added for movie “Rinjin X: Giwaku no Kanojo” starring Kento Hayashi & Juri Ueno. The sci-fi/drama screenplay is based on novel on novel “Rinjin X” by Ayako Paryusu and directed by Naoto Kumazawa. Director Naoto Kumazawa previously worked with actor Kento Hayashi in 2008 movie “Dive!!” and with Juri Ueno in 2006 movie “Rainbow Song.”

“Rinjin X: Giwaku no Kanojo” will be released December 1, 2023 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “Golden Kamuy”

Teaser trailer and poster added for live-action film “Golden Kamuy” starring Kento Yamazaki & Anna Yamada. Movie is based on manga series “Golden Kamuy” by Satoru Noda and directed by Sigeaki Kubo (“High & Low The Movie“). The first group of supporting cast has also been announced for the film and they include Gordon Maeda, Yuma Yamoto, Asuka Kudo, Shuntaro Yanagi, Ryohei Otani, Katsuya, Katsumi Kiba, Hisako Ohkata, Makita Sports, Hiroshi Tamaki, and Hiroshi Tachi. The script is set in Hokkaido, Japan during the late Meiji era (~1910) with various groups chasing after gold that was hidden by a criminal.

“Golden Kamuy” is now set for release January 19, 2024 in Japan.

Teaser trailer 2 and poster added for movie “Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” starring Daiki Shigeoka. The first group of supporting actors has also been announced for the film and they are Ayami Nakajo, Amane Okayama, Nanase Nishino, Mayu Hotta, Junki Tozuka, Aoi Morikawa and Shotaro Mamiya. Movie is based on 1992 msytery-suspense novel “Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” by Keigo Higashino and set within a villa on a snowy mountain.  An audition for 7 finalists takes place there. Caption on the poster states “All actors, all suspects.”

“Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” is now set for January, 2024 in Japan.

Kuranosuke Sasaki, Kyohei Takahashi, & Asuka Saito cast in TBS drama & movie “My Home Hero”

Kuranosuke Sasaki, Kyohei Takahashi, & Asuka Saito are cast in TBS drama series “My Home Hero” and movie version “My Home Hero.” The drama series and movie is based on manga series “My Home Hero” by Naoki Yamakawa. The screenplay for the drama series and movie will have Kuranosuke Sasaki play Tetsuo Tosu. He is an ordinary husband who likes to write mystery novels as a hobby. His adult aged daughter gets involved with an unscrupulous man affiliated with a crime organization. This leads Tetsuo Tosu to make a shocking and impulsive decision to save his daughter.

“My Home Hero” will first air October 24, 2023 and the movie version will be released spring, 2024.

Trailer and poster added for movie “Six Singing Women” starring Yutaka Takenouchi & Takayuki Yamada. Movie is written and directed by Yoshimasa Ishibashi. Director Yoshimasa Ishibashi and lead actor Takayuki Yamada previously worked together in 2012 movie “MILOCRORZE – A Love Story.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been announced as “Nightingale” by musical group NAQT VANE. The theme song is featured in the main trailer. Caption on the poster state “There is a secret in this forest.”

“Six Singing Women” will be released October 27, 2023 in Japan.
