Airu Kubozuka & Aju Makita are cast in teen romance film “Happiness.” The movie is based on 2006 novel “Happiness” by Novala Takemoto and directed by Tetsuo Shinohara (“At River’s Edge“). The film will have Airu Kubozuka & Aju Makita play high school students who are in a romantic relationship. The girl finds out that she has only a limited time left to live due to an illness.
“Happiness” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Movie is a sequel to 2016 NTV drama series “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?” Just announced to appear in the movie version in supporting roles are Haruka Kinami, Mitsuo Yoshihara, Moka Kamishiraishi, & Seishiro Kato. The trailer also features the movie’s theme song which is “Nonfiction no Bokura yo” by rock band Kankaku Pierrot.

Takeru Satoh, Masami Nagasawa, & Nana Mori are cast in movie “Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa.” The film is based on 2016 novel “Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa” by Genki Kawamura (“If Cats Disappeared From the World“). The romance screenplay revolves around Psychiatrist Shun Fujishiro (Takeru Satoh) who seeks to find his fiance who has disappeared. Filming for “Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa” is currently underway and will be filmed in Japan, Bolivia, Czech Republic, and Iceland.
“Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa” will be released March 29, 2024 in Japan.

Trailer added for movie “Confess To Your Crimes” starring Kento Nakajima & Shinichi Tsutsumi. Movie is based on 2019 novel “Omae no Tsumi o Jihaku Shiro” by Yuichi Shinpo and directed by Nobuo Mizuta (“The Apology King“). New supporting cast members has also been announced for the upcoming crime film and they are Elaiza Ikeda, Ikusaburo Yamazaki, Ayumu Nakajima, Minami, & Machiko Ono. Elaiza Ikeda will play Mayumi Ogata, who is Seijiro Uda’s (Shinichi Tsutsumi) daughter. Her daughter gets kidnapped. Ikusaburo Yamazaki will play detective Nobuki Hirao. He chases after the kidnapper of Mayumi Ogata’s daughter. Ayumu Nakajima will play Yoichiro Uda. He is Seijiro Uda’s first son and an assemblyman. Minami will play reporter Misaki Kamiya. Lastly, Machiko Ono will play Hatsumi Teranaka. She is an election volunteer and supports the Uda family. The trailer also features the movie’s theme song which is “Dark Rainbow” by rock duo B’z.

Movie is based on anga series “Chinmoku no Kantai” by Kaiji Kawaguchi (“Aircraft Carrier Ibuki“) and directed by Kohei Yoshino (“Gone Wednesday“). The film follows a Japanese-American nuclear submarine that goes missing with Captain Shiro Kaieda (Takao Osawa) commanding the vessel. Main trailer and poster added for Netflix live-action film “Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead” starring Eiji Akaso, Mai Shiraishi, & Shuntaro Yanagi. The horror-comedy film is based on manga series “Zom 100: Zombie ni Naru made ni Shitai 100 no Koto” by Haro Aso. Premise for the film takes place during a zombie apocalypse when overworked office worker Akira Tendo is excited about not having to go to work. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “HoriZOM” by singer-songwriter Ren. The theme song is also prominently featured in the trailer.
