Yuumi Kawai is cast in movie “An no Koto.” The film is written and directed by Yu Irie (“Vigilante“) and based on a true story that Yu Irie read about in a June, 2020 newspaper article. In the movie, Yuumi Kawai will play An. She grew up in a very difficult environment and became addicted to drugs. She then met some people who gave her hope with their kindness.

The film will revolve around three childhood friends who meet again as adults. They were involved in the murder of an old man, that they buried in their minds.

With the release of the main trailer, Mitsuki Takahata and Yuki Izumisawa have been announced to play supporting characters. Mitsuki Takahata will play Umeko and Yuki Izumisawa will play Toraji. They are both childhood friends of Saichi Sugimoto (Kento Yamazaki). Captions in the main trailer states (0:31) “Huge hidden buried gold,” (0:42) “The key to solve the riddle,” and (0:45) “The tattoos on the 24 escaped prisoners.” Movie is based on on manga series “Golden Kamuy” by Satoru Noda.

Movie is based on 2020 mystery novel “Houtei Yugi” by Ritsuto Igarashi and directed by Yoshihiro Fukagawa (“Sagrada Reset Part 1“). The trailer begins with Ren Nagase as law school student Kiyoyoshi Kuga stating “We expected this ending.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been announced as “Itoshi Ikiru Koto” by group King & Prince. Shotaro Mamiya, Jiro Sato, & Rina Kawaei are cast in mystery-horror film “Henna Ie.” The film is based on 2021 novel “Henna Ie” by Uketsu and directed by Junichi Ishikawa (“Mixed Doubles“). The script will have YouTuber Amemiya (Shotaro Mamiya) and Architect Kurihara (Jiro Sato) try to uncover the secret behind a floor plan for a mysterious home. Rina Kawaei will play Yuzuki, who joins their search. Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer has been added on AsianWiki.

The film is written and directed by Takeshi Kitano and already made its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival in the Cannes Premiere section. The film is set in the 16th century and revolves around Nobunaga Oda (Ryo Kase) and Hideyoshi Toyotomi’s (Takeshi Kitano) pursuit of traitor Murashige Araki (Kenichi Endo).
