Movie is based on 2016 novel “Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa” by Genki Kawamura (“If Cats Disappeared From the Worl“). The teaser trailer starts with Nana Mori as Haru Iyoda stating “It’s been 10 years. I’m writing to tell you something.”

“April, Come She Will” will arrive March 22, 2024 in Japanese theaters.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Shun Fujishiro (Takeru Satoh) is a psychiatrist and works at a university hospital in Tokyo. He is engaged to Yayoi Sakamoto (Masami Nagasawa). One day in April, when he is about to marry Yayoi Sakamoto, he receives a letter from his first love Haru Iyoda (Nana Mori). They dated 10 years ago. Suddenly, his fiancé Yayoi Sakamoto disappears.
