Jang Na-Ra & Go Joon cast for in tvN drama series “Oh My Baby”

Jang Na-Ra and Go Joon are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Oh My Baby.” Park Byung-Eun and Jung Gun-Joo are cast for major supporting character roles in the drama series. Jang Na-Ra will play Jang Ha-Ri. She is 39-years-old, single woman and works for a parenting magazine. Being a workaholic, she hasn’t dated in 10 years. She wants to have a baby though. Go Joon will play Han Yi-Sang. He works as a freelance photographer.

“Oh My Baby” will first air sometime during the first half of this year.

Kim Soo-Hyun cast in tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay”

Kim Soo-Hyun is cast in tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay” (literal title). This is Kim Soo-Hyun’s first regular acting role since his discharge from the South Korean military on October 23, 2017. He has made notable cameo appearances in tvN drama series’ “Hotel Del Luna” and “Crash Landing on You” after his discharge. For “Psycho But It’s Okay,” Kim Soo-Hyun will play lead male character Moon Kang-Tae. He works in a psychiatric ward and his job is to write down patients’ conditions and deal with unexpected situations. He also takes care of his older brother, who has autism. Moon Kang-Tae then meets a woman, who writes children’s literature and doesn’t know love.

“Psycho But It’s Okay” will air sometime this year in South Korea.

Second teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Hospital Playlist”

Second teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Hospital Playlist” (English title) starring Cho Jung-Seok, Kim Dae-Myung, Jung Kyoung-Ho, Yoo Yeon-Seok and Jeon Mi-Do. The drama series previously went under its literal title of “Hospital Playlist.” Teaser trailer #2 shows the five main characters in scrubs for the first time. They play characters who have been friends for 20 years, since they entered medical school in 1999, and now work at the same hospital. “Hospital Playlist” is directed by Shin Won-Ho and scripted by Lee Woo-Jung. They previously worked together on the three tvN “Reply” drama series.

“Hospital Playlist” first airs March 12, 2020 in South Korea (airs Thursdays at 9PM).

Ep.1 air date for tvN drama series “A Piece of Your Mind”

Ep.1 air date has been set for upcoming tvN drama series “A Piece of Your Mind” (English title) starring Jung Hae-In & Chae Soo-Bin. The drama series, previously went under the literal title of “Half of a Half,” will first air March 23, 2020 in South Korea. “A Piece of Your Mind” will air after the conclusion of “The Cursed” on Mondays and Tuesdays, but into a new 9PM time slot (rather than 9:30 PM time slot for the “The Cursed”). Story for “A Piece of Your Mind” will depict the romance between AI programmer Ha Won (Jung Hae-In) and music recording engineer Han Seo-Woo (Chae Soo-Bin).

Han Ye-Ri cast in tvN drama series “(I Don’t Know Much, But) We Are Family”

Han Ye-Ri is cast in tvN drama series “(I Don’t Know Much, But) We Are Family” (literal title). The drama series is scripted by Kim Eun-Jung (“Sweet Stranger and Me“) and directed by Kwon Young-Il (“Search: WWW“). The drama series will have Han Ye-Ri play Kim Eun-Hee.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: As people get older, they have less time to spend with their families and separately live their own lives. Teaser trailer #2 added for tvN drama series “The Cursed” starring Uhm Ji-Won, Jung Ji-So, and Sung Dong-Il. The teaser begins with captions “Bangbeob” which is when the hands and feet curl due to a curse. Around the 11 second mark, Jung Ji-Soo states “Bangebob. And personal belonging. Now I am starting. Supernatural universal thriller.”

Meanwhile, below are the first still images of Jung Ji-So in the drama series. The scene is from her first day of filming for the drama series. She plays a high school student, but possesses a supernatural ability.

Lee Joon-Gi & Moon Chae-Won are cast in tvN drama series “The Flower of Evil” (literal title). The drama series will be directed by Kim Cheol-Kyu (“Chicago Typewriter“) and scripted by Yoo Jung-Hee (“Naked Fireman“). Lee Joon-Gi and Moon Chae-Won previously starred together in 2017 tvN drama series “Criminal Minds.” The drama series features a suspense-romance script with Lee Joon-Gi playing a husband, hiding his dark past, and Moon Chae-Won playing his wife, who searches for the truth behind her husband’s past.

Park Bo-Gum & Park So-Dam are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Youth Record” (literal title). Actor Byeon Woo-Seok, most recently seen in JTBC drama series “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” is also cast for a major supporting character role. The three actors held a meeting for the drama series on January 8, 2020 for the first time on January 8, 2020.

For “Youth Record,” Park Bo-Gum will play Sa Hye-Joon. He is a popular model, but aspires to become an actor. Park So-Dam will play An Jung-Ha. She works as a make-up artist. Byeon Woo-Seok will play Won Hae-Hyo. He is a model and actor.
