English title set for tvN drama series “The Moment”

According to tvN, the official English title is now set as “The Moment” for its upcoming drama series starring Park Bo-Gum, Park So-Dam, and Byeon Woo-Seok. The drama series previously went under its literal title of “Youth Record.”

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Youth Record follows the lives of young people in the world of modeling.

Sa Hye-Joon is smart and handsome. He is a nice guy and a popular model, but what he really wants is to become an actor. He has auditioned for many acting roles, but hasn’t found success yet. Unfortunately, Sa Hye-Joon doesn’t have much presence as an actor. Meanwhile, An Jung-Ha works as a make-up artist.

“The Moment” is tentatively set to air from May, 2020 in South Korea.

Seo Ye-Ji cast in tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay”

Seo Ye-Ji is cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Psycho But It’s Okay” co-starring Kim Soo-Hyun. For “Psycho But It’s Okay,” Seo Ye-Ji will play lead female character Ko Moon-Young. Her character is scripted as a popular writer of children’s literature, but she has antisocial tendencies.

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: A story about a man employed in a psychiatric ward and a woman, with an antisocial personality disorder, who is a popular writer of children’s books.

Moon Kang-Tae (Kim Soo-Hyun) works in the psychiatric ward. His job is to write down the patients’ conditions and to deal with unexpected situations, like if patients fight or they run away. He only earns about 1.8 million won (~$1,600 USD) a month. The woman (Seo Ye-Ji) is a popular writer of children’s literature, but she is extremely selfish, arrogant and rude.

“Psycho But It’s Okay” is now slotted to first air June, 2020 in South Korea.

Highlight trailer added for upcoming tvN drama series “Hospital Playlist” starring Cho Jung-Seok, Kim Dae-Myung, Jung Kyoung-Ho, Yoo Yeon-Seok, and Jeon Mi-Do. The highlight trailer reveals the 5 main character’s names and their personalities for the first time.

In order of the highlight trailer, Jeon Mi-Do plays Song-Hwa. She is the only female among the 5 main characters, who have been friends since their med school days. Kim Dae-Myung plays Seok-Hyeong. He’s not a sociable person and he is a mamma’s boy. Cho Jung-Seok plays Ik-Joon. He is outgoing, unlike his friend Seok-Hyeong. He always places the at the top in academics. He is a gentle doctor, but he is very sensitive outside of the hospital.
