Yoo Seung-Ho & Lee Se-Young cast in tvN drama series “Memorist” & first script reading

Yoo Seung-Ho & Lee Se-Young are cast in tvN drama series “Memorist.” In addition, the first script reading for the drama series took place December 2, 2019. Attending the first script reading were Yoo Seung-Ho, Lee Se-Young, Cho Seong-Ha, Ko Chang-Seok, Jun Hyo-Seong, Yun Ji-On, Son Kwang-Eop, and Lim Se-Joo. The drama series features Yoo Seung-Ho playing Detective Dong Baek. He is able to read a person’s memory. Lee Se-Young will play Han Sun-Mi. She is a genius criminal profiler.

“Memorist” will first air March, 2020 (takes over tvN’s Wednesday & Thursday 9:30 PM time slot after “Money Game“).

Here’s the first two character posters for upcoming tvN drama series “Hi Bye Mama” starring Kim Tae-Hee & Lee Kyu-Hyung. The character posters are of Kim Tae-Hee as Cha Yoo-Ri and Lee Kyu-Hyung as Jo Kang-Hwa. Yoo Ji-Tae, Lee Bo-Young, Jin Young, and Jeon So-Nee are all cast in tvN drama series “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” (literal title). Yoo Ji-Tae and Lee Bo-Young will play the two lead characters, who knew each other in their 20’s and then meet again in their 40’s. Jin Young and Jeon So-Nee will play the lead characters in their 20’s. The drama series will be directed by Son Jung-Hyun (“Should We Kiss First“).

“The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” will first air April, 2020 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Hi Bye Mama.”).

3 character teasers added for tvN drama series “Money Game” starring Ko Soo, Shim Eun-Kyung, and Lee Sung-Min. Namgung Min and Han Ye-Seul have been offered lead roles in tvN drama series “Day and Night” (literal title). Currently, both performers are considering their offers. If Namgung Min accepts his offer, he will play lead male character Do Jung-Woo. His character is scripted as an excellent investigator. If Han Ye-Seul accepts her offer, she will play Kong Hye-Won. Her character works as the lieutenant of a special police team.

Jung Ji-So cast in tvN drama series “The Cursed”

Jung Ji-So is cast for a co-lead role in tvN drama series “The Cursed” (English title) co-starring Uhm Ji-Won. Already cast in major supporting character roles are Sung Dong-Il & Jo Min-Soo. The literal title of the drama series is “Method” (“Bangbeob”). For “The Cursed,” Jung Ji-So will play Baek So-Jin. She is teenage girl with an ability to place curses on other people. She works with Reporter Im Jin-Hee (Uhm Ji-Won) to fight against a devil (Sung Dong-Il). For Jung Ji-So, she most recently starred in Cannes Film Festival award winning film “Parasite” as the rich family’s daughter Da-Hye.

“The Cursed” first airs February, 2020 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday and Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “Black Dog.”).

Bae Doo-Na cast in tvN drama series “Stranger Season 2”

According to tvN, Bae Doo-Na is now cast in tvN drama series “Stranger Season 2” co-starring Cho Seung-Woo. The duo will reprise their respective lead roles from season 1 of “Stranger.” Most the supporting cast from season 1 will also return for season 2, but specific names were not mentioned.

Brief plot synopsis from AsianWiki: Prosecutor Hwang Shi-Mok (Cho Seung-Woo) received a demotion and now works at the district prosecutor’s office in Tongyeong.
