First two teaser trailers for tvN drama series “High Class”

First two teaser trailers added for tvN drama series “High Class” starring Cho Yeo-Jeong, Kim Ji-Soo, & Ha-Joon. The first teaser trailer has Cho Yeo-Jeong stating “Bare face of my life, which was perfect. I already became a woman who killed my husband.” The second teaser trailer has (0:01) Cho Yeo-Jeong stating “Everyone is talking about Gangnam Daechi Neighborhood” and then (0:02) Kim Ji-Soo stating “The high class people find the ability or aptitude of their children.”

“High Class” is now scheduled to first air September 6, 2021 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 10:30PM time slot after “You Are My Spring“).

First teaser trailer for tvN drama “Hometown”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Hometown” starring Yoo Jae-Myung, Han Ye-Ri, & Um Tae-Goo. The teaser trailer begins with someone picking up a cassette tape that is labelled as “Mix Tape” and playing it. The tape contains unidentified murmuring sounds. Due to this cassette tape, people realize an active serial murder case is connected to a past terror case.

“Hometown” is now set to first air September, 2021 in South Korea.

Highlight trailer for tvN drama “The Road: The Tragedy of One”

Highlight trailer added for tvN drama series “The Road: The Tragedy of One” starring Ji Jin-Hee & Yoon Se-Ah. The highlight video follows Anchorman Baek Soo-Hyun (Ji Jin-Hee) as he reveals a scoop on an illegal election campaign fund, while broadcasting live. Watching the broadcast, are Politician Hwang Tae-Seob (Kim Roe-Ha) and Chairman Seo Ki-Tae (Cheon Ho-Jin), who seem angered by the revelation. Baek Soo-Hyun soon receives a phone call and the caller tells him that his son Yeon-Woo has been kidnapped. 

“The Road: The Tragedy of One” first airs August 4, 2021 in South Korea.

Jin Young cast in tvN drama “Yumi’s Cells”

Jin Young is cast for a supporting character role in tvN drama series “Yumi’s Cells” starring Kim Go-Eun. Jin Young will play assistant manager Ba-Bi of the marketing department where title character Yu-Mi (Kim Go-Eun) works. He is popular at work for being handsome and he gets involved with Yu-Mi. The drama series is based on webcomic “Yumi’s Cells” by Lee Dong-Gun. Below are the first still images of Kim Go-Eun as Yu-Mi.

“Yumi’s Cells” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Kim Young-Dae offered lead role in tvN drama “Shooting Star”

Kim Young-Dae has been offered a lead role in tvN drama series “Shooting Star” (literal title). Currently, Kim Young-Dae is “positively considering” the offer. If he accepts, he will play Gong Tae-Sung. The drama series is set within the entertainment world and follows people who work for a star. Meanwhile, Kim Young-Dae is no longer part of the upcoming KBS2 drama series “School 2021.” No reasons were given why he has dropped out of that series.

Lim Soo-Jung & Lee Do-Hyun cast in tvN drama “Melancholia”

Lim Soo-Jung and Lee Do-Hyun are cast in tvN drama series “Melancholia.” The drama series is directed by Kim Sang-Hyub (“Extraordinary You“) and scripted by Kim Ji-Woon (“Doctor John“). The script will have Lim Soo-Jung playing Ji Yoon-Soo. She works as a math teacher at a private high school. Lee Do-Hyun will play Baek Seung-Yoo. He is a genius math student at the same high school.

“Melancholia” first airs sometime later this year in South Korea.

Kim Hee-Seon cast in MBC drama “Tomorrow”

Kim Hee-Seon is cast for the lead role in MBC drama series “Tomorrow” (literal title). The fantasy themed drama series is based on webcomic “Naeil” by Ra Ma. In “Tomorrow,” Kim Hee-Seon will play a charismatic angel of death. She is part of a crisis management team that tries to save suicidal people from taking their own lives.

“Tomorrow” will first air during the first half of 2022 in South Korea.
