Trailer and poster for movie “Living in Two Worlds”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Living in Two Worlds” starring Ryo Yoshizawa. The English title of the movie refers to the main character Dai Igarashi played by Ryo Yoshizawa, who grew up as a CODA (child of deaf adults) and grew up in two different world. The film is based on the 2021 autobiographical essay “Ro no Ryoshin kara Umareta Boku ga Kikoeru Sekai to Kikoenai Sekai wo Ikikishite Kangaeta 30 no Koto” by Dai Igarashi and directed by Mipo O (“The Light Shines Only There“). Caption on the poster states “Feelings that can’t be conveyed are overflowing.”

“Living in Two Worlds” will be released September 20, 2024 in Japan.

Sadawo Abe & Mana Ashida cast in movie “Cells at Work”

Sadawo Abe & Mana Ashida are cast in live-action film “Cells at Work.” They will join already announced lead cast members Mei Nagano and Mei Nagano. The movie is based on manga series “Hataraku Saibou” by Akane Shimizu and directed by Hideki Takeuchi (“Fly Me To The Saitama“). For movie “Cells at Work,” Sadawo Abe will play single dad Shigeru Urushizaki. He lives a very unhealthy lifestyle enjoying things like junk food, cigarettes, and alcohol. Mana Ashida will play his teenage daughter Niko Urushizaki. She lives a very healthy lifestyle. Within their bodies are cells working hard to protect them. “Cells at Work” is now scheduled for release December 13, 2024 in Japan.

Teaser posters and release date added for movie “I, The Executioner” starring Hwang Jung-Min and Jung Hae-In. Movie is a sequel to 2015 film “Veteran” starring Hwang Jung-Min and Yoo Ah-In. The teaser posters feature Hwang Jung-Min as Detective Seo Do-Cheol and Jung Hae-In as Park Sun-Woo. The movie made it’s world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this past May.

The film is a sequel to 2019 TBS drama series “La Grande Maison Tokyo” and will be set in Paris, France. This time around, Chef Natsuki Obana (Takuya Kimura) attempts to receive a three star Michelin rating for his new restaurant in Paris.

Yoon Kye-Sang, Lim Se-Mi, & Kim Yo-Han are cast in SBS drama series “Try: We Become Miracles” (literal title). The drama series is revolves around the sport of rugby, with Yoon Kye-Sang playing former rugby player turned high school coach Joo Ka-Ram. Lim Se-Mi will play Bae Yi-Ji, who coaches at the same high school and dated Joo Ka-Ram for 10 years. Kim Yo-Han will play Yoon Seong-Joon. He is the captain of the high school rugby team.

“Try: We Become Miracles” will first air sometime next year in South Korea.
