Jin Ki-Joo is cast for the lead female role in MBC drama series “Undercover High School” (working title) co-starring Seo Kang-Joon. For the action-comedy drama series, that is scripted by Im Young-Bin (“Bad Prosecutor“), Jin Ki-Joo will play Oh Soo-A. She works as a contract teacher at a prestigious private high school and meets a student who reminds her of her first love. That student is played by Seo Kang-Joon. He is actually an NIS agent working undercover.

Masataka Kubota is cast in NHK drama series “Chu (Sora) Wataru Kyoshitsu.” The drama series is based on 2023 novel “Chu (Sora) Wataru Kyoshitsu” by Shin Iyohara, which was inspired by the true story of a alternative high school’s science club in 2017. For the drama series, Masataka Kubota will play a mysterious science teacher named Kanae Fujitake.

Go Ayano and Etsushi Toyokawa are cast for lead roles in Netflix drama series “Tokyo Swindlers.” The drama series is based on 2019 novel “Jimenshitachi” by Ko Shinjo, which is inspired by a real life incident, and directed by Hitoshi One (“Tada’s Do-It-All House“). Both Go Ayano and Etsushi Toyokawa will play con artists in the drama series. They are involved in impersonating land owners and fake selling property to steal money. Movie is based on manga series “Akabane Honeko no Bodyguard” by Masamitsu Nigatsu and directed by Junichi Ishikawa (“Mixed Doubles“). The movie’s theme song has also been announced, which is “Breakout” by boy band Snow Man. Lead actor Raul is a member of Snow Man as well. The theme song “Breakout” plays during the main trailer.
