First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Tomorrow With You”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming tvN drama series “Tomorrow With You” starring Lee Je-Hoon & Shin Min-A. Although the brief 15 second teaser doesn’t feature any live footage from the drama series, the voiceover by Shin Min-A says “I married a time traveler” and Lee Je-Hoon’s voiceover says “Her fate will be changed, I will change.”

“Tomorrow With You” first airs February, 2017 in South Korea.

Shin Ha-Kyun & Do Kyung-Soo cast in movie “Room 7”

Shin Ha-Kyun and Do Kyung-Soo (‘EXO-K’) are cast in new movie “Room 7.” The film will be directed by Lee Yong-Seung (“10 Minutes“).

Story for “Room 7” takes place at a DVD bang. A DVD bang is a place in South Korea that rents out DVD’s to be watched in their rooms which usually feature comfortable couches, projection TV’s and high fidelity stereo systems.  In movie “Room 7,” Shin Ha-Kyun plays Doo-Sik. He owns a DVD bang, but the business is about to go bankrupt. Do Kyung-Soo will play Tae-Jung. He works part-time at the DVD bang. A mystery then takes place in room 7 at the DVD bang.

Filming for “Room 7” begins this January in South Korea.

Namgung Min and Nam Sang-Mi cast in KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim”

Namgung Min and Nam Sang-Mi are now cast for the lead roles in new KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim.” Also cast in supporting roles are Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’) and Kim Won-Hae. The first script reading for the drama series has already taken place and filming is underway in Gunsan, South Korea.

For drama series “Chief Kim,” Namgung Min will play Kim Gwan-Chul. He is the chief of an accounting department. He is a man of principle and pride. He is also full of mischief.

Nam Sang-Mi will play Yoon Ha-Kyung. She is the assistant manager in the same accounting department. She appears cold and selfish, but she is actually a kind person. She is also good with her work.

Lee Joon-Ho will play Seo Yool. He is the director of the company. He is also smart and charismatic.

“Chief Kim” first airs January, 2017 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot currently occupied by “Oh My Geum-Bi“).

Nanako Matsushima cast in Fuji TV drama special “Onna no Kunshou”

Nanako Matsushima is cast in new Fuji TV drama special “Onna no Kunshou.” The drama series is based on 1961 novel “Onna no Kunshou” by Toyoko Yamasaki (“The Unbroken“). Story for the drama series is set after World War II and Nanako Matsushima will play Noriko Oba. She starts a school for dressmaking and becomes recognized in the fashion world, but also faces backlash due to jealousy.

“Onna no Kunshou” will air sometime next year in Jaan.

First still images of Joo Won and Oh Yeon-Seo in SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl”

Here’s the first still images of Joo Won and Oh Yeon-Seo in upcoming SBS drama series “My Sassy Girl.” The drama series is based on 2001 movie “My Sassy Girl,” but based in a historical setting. In the drama series, Joo Won plays Gyun-Woo. His character is scripted as being cold-hearted, smart and attractive. Oh Yeon-Seo will play Princess Hyemyung. She is pretty, but she is also a troublemaker and sometimes does strange things.

“My Sassy Girl” will air sometime in the first half of 2017 in South Korea.

Mugi Kadowaki cast in movie “Sekai wa Kyou kara Kimi no Mono”

Mugi Kadowaki is cast in new movie “Sekai wa Kyou kara Kimi no Mono.” Also cast in the movie are Takahiro Miura, Makita Sports, Yu Hirukawa & You. The film is written and directed by Masaya Ozaki. “Sekai wa Kyou kara Kimi no Mono” is the second film directed by Masaya Ozaki, but he has written screenplays for numerous films and drama series.

In movie “Sekai wa Kyou kara Kimi no Mono,” Mugi Kadowaki plays a young otaku who is also a hikkimori. Her father played by Makita Sports has been very concerned about her and finally finds her a job that requires little interaction with other people. The job is for a gaming company. There, she falls for illustrator Ryotaro Yabe played by Takahiro Miura.

“Sekai wa Kyou kara Kimi no Mono” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Trailer for movie “Tsuioku”

Trailer added for movie “Tsuioku” starring Junichi Okada, Shun Oguri & Tasuku Emoto. Equally as impressive, movie features Masami Nagasawa, Fumino Kimura, Sakura Ando & Hidetaka Yoshioka. Movie is directed by Yasuo Furuhata. Story for “Tsuioku” (literally “Memory”) follows three childhood friends who meet as adults. One person is now a detective (Junichi Okada), one is the suspect (Shun Oguri) and the other the victim (Tasuku Emoto). Their past also comes to the foreground.

“Tsuioku” is now scheduled for release May 6, 2017 in Japan.
