First still images of Lee Joon-Ho in KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim”

Here’s the first still images of Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’) in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim” starring Namgung Min & Nam Sang-Mi. The still images are from a scene filmed on December 28, 2016 at a set in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. In the drama series, Lee Joon-Ho plays Seo Yool. His character works as a prosecutor, but he is scouted for company TQ. He begins to work there as a finance director. First teaser trailer has also been added.

Script reading and gosa ceremony for movie “Room 7”

Script reading and opening gosa ceremony took place for upcoming movie “Room 7,” starring Shin Ha-Kyun & Do Kyung-Soo, on December 22, 2016. The traditional gosa ceremony is a shamanistic ritual to avoid misfortune and bring about good luck. Filming for “Room 7” is expected to start January 2, 2017. Setting for “Room 7” takes place at a DVD bang, which is a DVD rental shop that offers semi-private rooms to watch the films.

She is a great swordswoman and oiran.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Defendant”

First script reading for upcoming SBS drama series “Defendant,” starring Ji Sung,Kwon Yuri & Uhm Ki-Joon, took place November 18, 2016 at at SBS Studio in Tanhyun, Ilsan, South Korea. The first script reading featured main cast members including Ji Sung, Kwon Yuri, Uhm Ki-Joon, Oh Chang-Suk & Uhm Hyun Kyung. In addition, first teaser trailer for the drama series has been added.

“Defendant” will first air January 23, 2017 in South Korea.

Main trailer for movie “The Werewolf Game: Lovers”

Main trailer for movie “The Werewolf Game: Lovers” starring Seika Furuhata. Movie is the 6th “The Werewolf Game” film based on the 2013 novel “Jinro Game” by Ryo Kawakami. Setup for “The Werewolf Game: Lovers” has participants who have won similar contests before taking part and new positions of “cupid” and “lover.”

“The Werewolf Game: Lovers” will be released January 28, 2017 in Japan.

Zo In-Sung vs Hyun-Bin

Zo In-Sung and Hyun-Bin are set to face-off of sorts, as their latest films have just been assigned the same January 18, 2017 release date in South Korea.

Zo In-Sung’s “The King” also stars Jung Woo-Sung and follows the life a prosecutor in the 1990’s as he climbs the social ladder. Meanwhile, “Confidential Assignment” pairs Hyun-Bin with Yu Hae-Jin and follows the story of a North Korean and South Korean detective as they work together to take down a criminal. “The King” is distributed by NEW and “Confidential Assignment” by CJ Entertainment.

Here’s the first still images of Namgung Min in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Chief Kim” co-starring Nam Sang-Mi. The still images are from Namgun Min’s first day of filming for the drama series. The scene was filmed on December 11, 2016 in Paju, South Korea. In the drama series, Namgun Min plays Kim Sung-Ryong. He used to be an accountant for a criminal gang, but he somehow lands a job as a chief in the accounting department for a legitimate company. The company though is struggling financially. He tries to save the company.

Koji Yakusho cast in TBS drama series “Rikuo”

Koji Yakusho is cast in new TBS drama series “Rikuo.” The drama series is based on 2016 novel “Rikuo” by Jun Ikeido. In the drama series, Koji Yakusho will play main character Koichi Miyazawa. He runs a small company that produces tabi (traditional Japanese socks). Due to declining demand, the struggles financially. He then decides to manufacture running shoes.

“Rikuo” will first air October, 2017 in Japan.

Ko So-Young, Yoon Sang-Hyun and Cho Yeo-Jeong cast in KBS2 drama series “Perfect Wife”

Ko So-Young, Yoon Sang-Hyun and Cho Yeo-Jeong are all cast in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Perfect Wife.” Ko So-Young will play the lead female character, while Yoon Sang-Hyun and Cho Yeo-Jeong will play major supporting characters. Meanwhile, actor Lee Sang-Yeob has been offered the lead male character role and he is currently “positively considering” the offer.

For drama series “Perfect Wife,” Ko So-Young will play Sim Jae-Bok. She is married and has two children. Sim Jae-Bok has a tough personality, because she went through a lot of hardships. She becomes involved in an unexpected case and begins to regain her true self.

Yoon Sang-Hyun will play Koo Jung-Hee. He is the husband of Sim Jae-Bok. He works as the manager in the sales department of a construction material company. He is timid, but has affairs with other women.

Cho Yeo-Jeong will play an as of yet unrevealed character. Her character is important to the story.

The lead male character will be attorney Kang Bong-Goo (which has been offered to Lee Sang-Yeob). He dreams of gaining status and power through marriage.

“Perfect Wife” first airs February, 2017 in South Korea.
