Teaser trailer for MBC drama series “Radiant Office”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming MBC drama series “Radiant Office” starring Ko Ah-Sung & Ha Seok-Jin.

Meanwhile, still images above is of supporting character actor Hoya (‘INFINITE’) in the drama series. For “Radiant Office,” Hoya plays Jang Kang-Ho. He has an impressive resume, but he gets nervous easily and keeps failing job interviews. He finally lands a job as a contract worker. He works with Eun Ho-Won (Ko Ah-Sung) and Do Ki-Taek (Lee Dong-Hwi) who are also temps at the office.

“Radiant Office” first airs March 15, 2017 in South Korea.

Yoo Ah-In, Lim Soo-Jung and Ko Gyung-Pyo cast in tvN drama “Chicago Typewriter”

Yoo Ah-In, Lim Soo-Jung and Ko Gyung-Pyo are now all cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Chicago Typewriter.”

For the upcoming drama series, Yoo Ah-In will play lead male character Han Se-Joo. He is a popular bestselling writer with a good appearance. He is also overly sensitive and sometimes downright mean. Lim Soo-Jung will play female lead character Jeon Seol. She is a student of veterinary medicine. Due to an incident, she becomes an anti-fan of best selling writer Han Se-Joo. Meanwhile, Ko Gyung-Pyo will play second lead male character Yoo Jin-O. He is a highly skilled ghostwriter. He is also a mysterious figure. All three of these characters are reincarnated from the 1930’s to the present day.

“Chicago Typewriter” first airs March, 2017.

Lee Sun-Kyun & Park Hae-Joon are cast in new movie “Bad Police”

Lee Sun-Kyun & Park Hae-Joon are cast in new movie “Bad Police.” Lee Sun-Kyung and Park Hae-Joon previously worked together in 2012 film “Helpless.” “Bad Police” will be directed by Lee Jeong-Beom (“The Man From Nowhere“). Story for the film deals with a bad police officer as he deals with vicious circumstances. The story also deals with the sinking of the Sewol Ferry, but that will be not be a main part of the story.

Filming for “Bad Police” begins March 15, 2017 in South Korea.

Supporting cast for Hirokazu Koreeda directed film “The Third Murder”

Supporting cast has been announced for upcoming Hirokazu Koreeda directed film “The Third Murder” starring Masaharu Fukuyama & Koji Yakusho. Now cast in supporting roles are Suzu Hirose, Yuki Saito, Kotaro Yoshida, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Izumi Matsuoka, Mikako Ichikawa & Isao Hashizume.

Basic premise for the film follows an elite lawyer (Masaharu Fukuyama) as he takes on a case of a man (Koji Yakusho) accused of murder. The man was previously convicted of murder some 30 years ago. Even though the man confesses to the murder charge, the lawyer begins to have doubt.

“The Third Murder” will be released September, 2017 in Japan.

Filming finishes for movie “Park Yeol”

Filming for upcoming movie “Park Yeol,” starring Lee Je-Hoon, finished February 17, 2017 at a prison set in Cheongpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Filming took 5 weeks to finish. The last day of filming has Park Yeol (Lee Je-Hoon) and The Minister of State for Home Affairs Mizuno (Kim In-Woo) in a confrontation. Filming took place in Cheongpyeong, Hapcheon, Daejeon and Busan, South Korea. Movie is based on the life of anarchist and Korean independence activist Park Yeol. Lee Joon-Ik directs the film.

“Park Yeol” will be released sometime this year in South Korea.

First still images from movie “The 8-Year Engagement”

Here’s the first still images of Takeru Satoh and Tao Tsuchiya in upcoming movie “The 8-Year Engagement.” Filming for the movie finished February 14, 2017 and took about 6 weeks to finish. Filming took place mainly around Okayama and also took place in Hiroshima and Kagawa. Movie is based on the autobiographical novel “8 Nen Goshi no Hanayome Kimi no Me ga Sametanara” by Hisashi Nakahara and Mai Nakahara, and directed by Takahisa Zeze. Premise for the film revolves around a woman who wakes up from a coma and cannot remember her fiance.

“The 8-Year Engagement” will be released sometime during winter, 2017 in Japan.

Krystal and Gong Myung offered supporting roles in tvN drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017”

Krystal from idol group ‘f(x)’ and Gong Myung have been offered major supporting character roles in upcoming tvN drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017.” Currently, the two are positively considering the offers. Nam Joo-Hyuk and Shin Se-Kyung have already received offers to play the lead character roles and they are also considering the offers.

If Krystal accepts, she will play Hye-Ra. Her character is a god and she has lived among humans for hundreds of years. Now, Hye-Ra lives the life of an actress. She loves Ha Baek (Nam Joo-Hyuk if he accepts) in vain and, consequently, does not like So-A (Shin Se-Kyung if she accepts).

“Bride of the Water God 2017” first airs sometime this year in South Korea.
