7 more cast members announced for live-action film “Ajin: Demi-Human”

7 more cast members has been announced for upcoming live-action film “Ajin: Demi-Human” starring Takeru Satoh. Now cast in the film are Gou Ayano, Yuu Shirota, Yudai Chiba, Yuki Yamada, Tetsuji Tamayama, Rina Kawaei & Minami Hamabe. Movie is based on manga series “Ajin” by Gamon Sakurai and directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro.

In the upcoming movie Gou Ayano will play Sato who is an Ajin (“Demi-Human”). He holds incredible strength and an enemy of Kei Nagai (Takeru Satoh).

Yuu Shirota will play Koji Tanaka who is also an Ajin. He takes part in acts with Sato.

Yudai Chiba will play Masumi Okuyama. He is also an Ajin. He supports Sato’s group with the use of drones and hacking. Yuki Yamada will play Takahashi. He is an Ajin.

Tetsuji Tamayama will play Yu Tosaki. He is in charge of Ajin at the Ajin Research of Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare.

Rina Kawaei  will play Izumi Shimomura. She is an Ajin. She is Yu Tosaki’s secretary and bodyguard.

Minami Hamabe will play Eriko Nagai. She is the younger sister of Kei Nagai.

“Ajin: Demi-Human” will be released September 30, 2017 in Japan.

JTBC to air “Age of Youth Season 2”

JTBC is set to air “Age of Youth Season 2” sometime this year in South Korea. Furthermore, the 5 main girls from the first season of “Age of Youth” have all been offered to play their respective roles in season 2. Currently, Han Ye-Ri, Han Seung-Yeon, Park Eun-Bin, Ryu Hwa-Young and Park Hye-Soo are considering the offers. As the drama series is in the very early planning stages, the script will depend on largely whether the 5 girls will return in season 2. If they do accept than the screenplay will continue from season 1 of the drama series. If they cast new girls in season 2 than the screenplay will feature a new story.

Teaser poster for movie “House of the Disappeared”

Teaser poster added for upcoming mystery-thriller film “House of the Disappeared” starring Kim Yunjin & TaecYeon (‘2PM’). Movie is directed by Lim Dae-Woong. Story for “House of the Disappeared” follows a mother played by Kim Yunjin who returns to the home where her husband died and her son went missing 25 years earlier. The teaser poster also reveals that the movie will be released sometime this April in South Korea.

Filming for movie “Silence” finishes

Filming for upcoming movie “Silence” starring Choi Min-Sik, Park Shin-Hye & Ryoo Joon-Yeol, finished February 7, 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand. Filming took 4 months to complete. Actor Ryoo Joon-Yeol flew to Bangkok to attend the last day of filming even though he already finished filming his scenes. Movie is a remake of 2013 Chinese film “Silent Witness” and directed by Jung Ji-Woo.

“Silence” (literal title) will be released sometime this year in South Korea.

Kim Young-Kwang and Lee Si-Young offered lead roles in MBC drama series “Lookout”

Kim Young-Kwang and Lee Si-Young have been offered the lead roles in new MBC drama series “Lookout.” Both performers are currently considering their offers. If Kim Young-Kwan accepts, he will play Jang Do-Han. His character is an ambitious prosecutor. He comes from a poor family background, but aspires to join the upper class. If Lee Si-Young accepts, she will play Jo Soo-Ji. She is a former detective and former competitor in shooting sports.

“Lookout” will first air this May in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People“).

Teaser #3 for OCN drama series “Tunnel”

Teaser #3 added for upcoming OCN drama series “Tunnel” starring Choi Jin-Hyuk, Yoon Hyun-Min & Lee Yoo-Young. Teaser trailer #3 features all three main characters with introductory captions for each character stating: (Choi Jin-Hyuk)  “Park Gwang-Ho, enthusiastic detective came from 1986,”  (Yoon Hyun-Min) “Kim Sun-Jae, rude elite detective in 2017” and (Lee Yoo-Young) “Shin Jae-Yi, psychology professor who is crazy about murderer research.”

“Tunnel” first airs March 18, 2017 in South Korea.

Here’s visuals of Masaki Okada and Mackenyu in upcoming live-action film “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” starring Kento Yamazaki. In live-action film “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” Masaki Okada plays Keicho Nijimura. He is active in the town of Morio for horrific purposes. Mackenyu plays Okuyasu Nijimura. He is the younger brother of Keicho Nijimura. Movie is directed by Takashi Miike.
