First still images of Shin Se-Kyung in tvN drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017”

Here’s the first still images of Shin Se-Kyung in upcoming tvN drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017” co-starring Nam Joo-Hyuk. In drama series “Bride of the Water God 2017,” Shin Se-Kyung plays Yoon So-A. She works as a psychiatrist and is destined to live as a servant to the Water God. Shin Se-Kyung had her hair cut to play Yoon So-A and sports a bob cut. It’s the first time she cut her hair to play a role in her acting career.

“Bride of the Water God 2017” first airs July 3, 2017 in South Korea.

Kie Kitano cast in live-action dTV drama series “Gintama: Mitsuba hen”

Kie Kitano is cast in upcoming live-action dTV drama series “Gintama: Mitsuba hen” co-starring Shun Oguri, Ryo Yoshizawa, Yuya Yagira & Kankuro Nakamura. The drama series is based on manga series “Gintama” by Hideaki Sorachi and will be directed by Yuichi Fukuda. In the upcoming 3 episode drama series, Kie Kitano will play Mitsuba Okita. She is the older sister of Sogo Okita (Ryo Yoshizawa) and has feelings for Toshiro Hijikata (Yuya Yagira).

“Gintama: Mitsuba hen” first airs July 15, 2017 and live-action film “Gintama” will be released July 14, 2017 in Japan.

Character trailer for movie “Real”

Character trailer added for upcoming movie “Real” starring Kim Soo-Hyun. The character trailer features five characters from the movie. Jang Tae-Young (Kim Soo-Hyun) is a casion boss. Jo Won-Geun (Sung Dong-Il) is a rival of Jang Tae-Young and wants his casino. Choi Jin-Gi (Lee Sung-Min) is a psychiatrist for Jang Tae-Young. Song Yoo-Hwa (Sulli) is a therapist at Choi Jin-Gi’s clinic. Sa Do-Jin (Jo Woo-Jin) is a lawyer who only deals with V.I.P. type clientele.

Release date for “Real” is now set for June 28, 2017 in South Korea.

Teaser poster and still images for movie “Hibana: Spark”

Here’s the first teaser poster and still images for upcoming movie “Hibana: Spark” starring Masaki Suda & Kenta Kiritani. Movie is based on 2015 novel “Hibana” by Naoki Matayoshi and directed by Itsuji Itao. The movie version follows 2016 Netflix-NHK drama series “Hibana: Spark” which stars Kento Hayashi and Kazuki Namioka in the respective lead roles. Story for the film follows two men who struggle for success as comedians.

Ji-Woo and Choi A-Ra are cast in JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2”

Ji-Woo and Choi A-Ra are cast for leading roles in upcoming JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2.”

Ji-Woo will replace Park Hye-Soo from season 1 and play Yoo Eun-Jae. Due to scheduling conflicts, Park Hye-Soo is unable to appear in season 2. For Choi A-Ra, she will play new character Jo Eun. She moves into the share house occupied by the 4 other main girls: Yoon Jin-Myung (Han Ye-Ri), Jung Ye-Eun (Han Seung-Yeon), Song Ji-Won (Park Eun-Bin) & Yoo Eun-Jae (Ji-Woo). Jo Eun will take the room vacated by Kang Yi-Na (Ryu Hwa-Young).

In addition, Kim Min-Suk and Onew (‘SHINee’) are cast in supporting roles for the drama series. Kim Min-Suk will play Seo Jang-Hoon. His character works as a representative for the share house owner. Onew will play Kwon Ho-Chang. His character isn’t very good when it comes to dating. He gets involved in a romantic relationship with Ye-Eun (Han Seung-Yeon).

The first script reading for “Age of Youth Season 2” is scheduled to take place today June 7, 2017.

First script reading for OCN drama series “Save Me”

First script reading for OCN drama series “Save Me” (literal title), starring TaecYeon (‘2PM’) & Seo Ye-Ji, took place April, 2017 at Studio Dragon Corporation in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. The first script reading included main cast members TaecYeon, Seo Ye-Ji, Woo Do-Hwan, Cho Seong-Ha, Jo Jae-Yun and David Lee among others. The drama series is a thriller revolving around a cult religious group, but also includes some lighter moments involving Han Sang-Hwan (TaecYeon) and his three friends.

Kim Jae-Joong offered lead male role in drama series “Invisible Man”

Kim Jae-Joong (‘JYJ’) has been offered the lead male role in new drama series “Invisible Man” (literal title). The drama series will consist of 4 episodes and exact network that will air the drama series has yet to be decided. If Kim Jae-Joong accepts, he will play the main character who works as a human rights lawyer. The human rights grandfather is a famous photographer. After his grandfather’s death, he uncovers his grandfather’s secret.

Kim Jae-Joong was discharged from the South Korean military on December 30, 2016 and, if he accepts the role, “Invisible Man” would be his first acting role since enlisting in the military on March 31, 2015.
