Ep.4 of tvN drama series “A Korean Odyssey” to air one week later

Production staff for currently airing “A Korean Odyssey” has apologized for a series of glitches that marred the airing of ep.2 on Sunday, December 24, 2017. In a scene with Jin Sun-Min (Oh Yeon-Seo) singing on stage, the wire line holding the flying black spirits up were clearly visible and ads suddenly ran for more than 10 minutes. Ep.2 re-aired on Monday, December 25, 2017 at 6:10 PM without any of the above mentioned glitches. An apology for the glitches that aired on ep.2 was posted on tvN’s official website.

In addition, ep.4 of “A Korean Odyssey,” which was originally scheduled to air Sunday, December 31, 2017, will now air Saturday, January 6, 2018. The one week delay is to allow improvement in the production of the drama series and avoid any of the glitches that marred ep.2.

Trailer for tvN drama special “Today I Grab the Tambourine Again”

Trailer added for tvN drama special “Today I Grab the Tambourine Again” (literal title) starring Park Hee-Von and Lee Mi-So. The drama special is the 5th installment in tvN’s Drama Stage series. The series will have 10 episodes in all. Story for “Today I Grab the Tambourine Again” follows Oh Moon-Sook (Park Hee-Von) as she struggles to make the jump from a contract worker to a full-time employee at a bank.

“Today I Grab the Tambourine Again” airs December 30, 2017 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for live-action film “Inuyashiki”

Teaser trailer added for upcoming live-action film “Inuyashiki” starring Noritake Kinashi and Takeru Satoh. Movie is based on manga “Inuyashiki” by Hiroya Oku and directed by Shinsuke Sato (“Gantz“). Story for “Inuyashiki” involves an elderly man (Noritake Kinashi) who wakes up from an explosion to find himself a powerful cyborg and he is opposed by high school student turned cyborg (Takeru Satoh).

In addition, “Inuyashiki” is now set for release April 20, 2018 in Japan.

KBS2 drama series “Queen of Mystery 2” to air from February 21, 2018

KBS2 is set to air sequel drama series “Queen of Mystery 2” from February 21, 2018 in South Korea. The drama series will air on Wednesday & Thursdays at 10PM following the conclusion of “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me.” There is about a month gap from the end of “Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me” to the start of “Queen of Mystery 2” which will be filled by the 2018 Winter Olympics coverage taking place in PyeongChang, South Korea. “Queen of Mystery 2” features the return of housewife Yoo Seol-Ok (Choi Gang-Hee) and detective Ha Wan-Seung (Kwon Sang-Woo) working together to solve mystery cases.

Meanwhile, KBS2 is currently considering drama series “Suits” to take over the Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after “Queen of Mystery 2,” beginning April, 2018.

First teaser trailer added for upcoming tvN drama series “Mother” starring Lee Bo-Young, Heo Yool and Ko Sung-Hee. In the teaser trailer, narration by Lee Bo-Young states “Hya-Na, listen carefully. I will take you thousands of kilometers away without anyone knowing. Can do that. Mother…” Drama series is a remake of 2010 NTV drama series “Mother” starring Yasuko Matsuyuki and Mana Ashida.

“Mother” first airs January 24, 2018 in South Korea.

Here’s 2 teaser posters for MBN drama series “Yeonnam-dong 539” starring Lee Jong-HyukOh Yoon-Ah and Lee Moon-Sik. The 12 episode drama series is set at a share house in the Yeonnam Neighborhood in Seoul, South Korea. Also appearing the drama series are Brian, Ko Woo-Ri (‘RAINBOW’), Yang Jung-Won, Choi Woo-Hyuk and Chunji (‘Teen Top’).

Satoshi Tsumabuki cast in WOWOW drama series “Innocent Days”

Satoshi Tsumabuki is cast in WOWOW drama series “Innocent Days.” The drama series is based on 2014 novel “Innocent Days” by Kazumasa Hayami and directed by Kei Ishikawa. 2013 movie “Our Family” starred Satoshi Tsumabuki and is based on an original novel by Kazumasa Hayami and Satoshi Tsumabuki starred in 2017 film “Gukoroku: Traces of Sin” which was directed by Kei Ishikawa. Story for “Innocent Days” follows Shinichi Sasaki (Satoshi Tsumabuki) as he searches into the past of his childhood friend Yukino Tanaka. She received the death sentence and Shinichi Sasaki believes she is innocent.

“Innocent Days” first airs March 18, 2018 in Japan.
