Filming for movie “Champion,” starring Ma Dong-Seok, Kwon Yool and Han Ye-Ri, finished December 17, 2017. Filming took about 9 weeks to finish. The film features Ma Dong-Seok as an aspiring arm wrestler. Han Ye-Ri plays his younger sister and Kwon Yool plays a promoter.
“Champion” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.
First teaser trailer added for upcoming OCN drama series “Children of A Lesser God” (English & literal title) starring Kang Ji-Hwan and Kim Ok-Vin. The teaser trailer is set in the forest and the Kang Ji-Hwan provides narration with “… possessed chase thriller….”

Erika Sawajiri is cast in new movie “Neko wa Daku Mono.” The film is based on 2015 novel “Neko wa Daku Mono” by Junko Oyama and directed by Isshin Inudo. Story for “Neko wa Daku Mono” has Erika Sawajiri playing Saori Oishi. She is a former idol group member, now working at a supermarket. She only opens up to a cat at a pet store. The cat then somehow believes he is her boyfriend. Isshin Inudo previously directed films “Goo Goo, The Cat” and “All About My Dog” which revolved around animals.
“Neko wa Daku Mono” will be released June 23, 2018.
Jang Keun-Suk has received an offer to play the lead male role in upcoming SBS drama series “King Peacock” (literal title). Currently, Jang Keun-Suk is considering the offer. If Jang Keun-Suk accepts he will play a swindler who punishes those who prosecutors did not. “King Peacock” is in its planning stage and the drama series will air sometime next year in South Korea.
Kam Woo-Sung, Kim Sun-A, Oh Ji-Ho and Park Si-Yeon are cast in new SBS drama series “Should We Kiss First” (literal title). Accoring to SBS, the first script reading took place December 18, 2017 with Kam Woo-Sung, Kim Sun-A, Oh Ji-Ho and Park Si-Yeon in attendance. Story for the drama series follows four adults who lost their faith in love.
“Should We Kiss First” first airs February, 2018 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Doubtful Victory“).
Lee Da-Hae and Ryu Soo-Young are cast for the lead role in SBS drama series “Good Witch” (literal title). They join already cast supporting members An Woo-Yeon, Bae Soo-Bin, Yoon Se-Ah and Lee Deok-Hwa. In the drama series, Lee Da-Hae will play twin sisters Cha Sun-Hee and Cha Do-Hee. When her flight attendant twin sister Cha Do-Hee becomes involved in a situation, Cha Sun-Hee pretends to be her sister and she eventually meets co-pilot Song Woo-Jin played by Ryu Soo-Young.
“Good Witch” first airs March, 2018 (takes over SBS’ Saturday 8:45 PM time slot after “Bravo My Life“).

JTBC is set to air drama special “Han Yeo-Reum’s Memory, ” starring Choi Gang-Hee and Lee Joon-Hyuk, on December 31, 2017. The drama special consists of 2 episodes and it will air sequentially on JTBC. In addition, here are the first two still images from the drama special. In the drama special, Choi Gang-Hee plays a radio program writer Han Yeo-Reum. She casts her ex-boyfriend Park Hae-Joon (Lee Joon-Hyuk) for a program.

Kim Jung-Hyun, Lee Yi-Kyung and Son Seung-Won are cast for lead roles in JTBC drama series “Eulachacha Waikiki.” Former T-ara member Ryu Hwa-Young is currently considering an offer to play a lead female character role in the drama series. For the drama series, Kim Jung-Hyun will play the lead male character with Lee Yi-Kyung and Son Seung-Won playing secondary lead characters. Story for “Eulachacha Waikiki” follows three men who run a guest house in Itaewon, South Korea. A mysterious baby and a single mother appear.
