Main trailer added for upcoming movie “What a Man Wants” (English title) starring Lee Sung-Min, Shin Ha-Kyun, Song Ji-Hyo and Lee El. Movie went under its literal title of “Wind Wind Wind” prior to today. In the film, Lee Sung-Min and Song Ji-Hyo play brother and sister. Song Ji-Hyo’s character is married to Shin Ha-Kyun’s character. Lee El’s character then enters the picture. Movie is directed by Lee Byeong-Hun.

Tao Tsuchiya and Takumi Kitamura (‘Dish’) are cast for the lead roles in live-action film “We Hope for Blooming” (literal title). Movie is based on manga “Harumatsu Bokura” by Anashin and directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa. Also cast in supporting roles are Yuta Koseki, Hayato Isomura, Yosuke Sugino and Yu Inaba. Story for “We Hope for Blooming” has Tao Tsuchiya playing high school student Mitsuki Haruno. She is timid and doesn’t have any friends at school. A case takes place and she then begins to hang out with 4 players from the school’s basketball team. She also develops feelings for Towa Asakura (Takumi Kitamura) from the basketball team, but she meets her childhood friend (Yuta Koseki) now a basketball player at another high school.
“We Hope for Blooming” will be released sometime during winter, 2018 in Japan.
Teaser trailer for movie “Marionette” starring Lee Yoo-Young and Kim Hee-Won. Story for “Marionette” follows a high school teacher played by Lee Yoo-Young. She begins to receive threatening text messages and photos showing her in compromising positions.

English subtitled teaser trailer for movie “Seven Years of Night” starring Ryoo Seung-Ryong and Jang Dong-Gun. Movie tells a revenge tale involving a father (Jang dong-Gun) who waits sevens years for the killer (Ryoo Seung-Ryong) of his daughter to get out of prison.
“Seven Years of Night” will be released March 28, 2018 in South Korea.
Song Ji-Hyo has been offered the lead female role in upcoming drama series “Romantic Comedy King.” The drama series is based on manga “Zettai Kareshi” by Yuu Watase which was previously adapted into 2008 Fuji TV live-action drama series “Absolute Boyfriend.” Currently, Song Ji-Hyo is considering the offer. If she accepts, she will play a woman who had a bad love experience and became a cold person because of it. She then falls in love with an android programmed to be a boyfriend.
OCN is currently having discussions to air the drama series on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:00PM, but an agreement has not yet been reached.

Meanwhile, actor Oh Dal-Su dropped out of the drama series on February 27, 2018 due to sexual harassment complaints from his past. Actor Park Ho-San was then cast as his replacement. He will play Park Sang-Hoon (the older brother of Lee Sun-Kyun’s character).

Wakana Aoi and Hayato Sano (‘M!LK’) are cast for the lead roles in live-action film “Blue Summer” (literal title). Movie is based on manga “Ao-Natsu” by Atsuko Nanba. Also cast in supporting roles are Seika Furuhata, Takumi Kizu, Rinka Kumada, Atomu Mizuishi, Shiori Akita and Reo Shimura. Story for “Blue Summer” has Wakana Aoi playing high school student Rio. She lives in Tokyo, but she spends the summer in the countryside. There she meets high school student Ginzo (Hayato Sano) .
“Blue Summer” will be released August 1, 2018 in Japan.
Teaser trailer for upcoming TBS drama series “Boys Over Flowers Season 2” starring Hana Sugisaki, Sho Hirano and Taishi Nakagawa. The drama series is based on manga “Hana Nochi Hare: Hanadan Next Season” by Yoko Kamio. Story for “Boys Over Flowers Season 2” is set 10 years after the F4 have graduated and a new group Correct 5 is formed at the high school.

Sosuke Ikematsu is cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Miyamoto kara Kimi e.” The drama series is based on manga “Miyamoto kara Kimi e” by Hideki Arai and will be directed by Tetsuya Mariko. Sosuke Ikematsu will play main character Hiroshi Miyamoto in the drama series. The character of Hiroshi Miyamoto is fresh out of college and works his first job as a salesman for a stationary company. His job doesn’t go well, but he does fall in love with the receptionist at an automobile company. He attempts to talk to her.

Park Seo-Joon & Kong Hyo-Jin will make cameo appearances in upcoming movie “Be with You” starring So Ji-Sub and Son Ye-Jin. For the upcoming film, Park Seo-Joon will play Ji-Ho as an adult. Ji-Ho is the son of Woo-Jin (So Ji-Sub) and Soo-A (Son Ye-Jin). Park Seo-Joon accepted the cameo role partly due to the movie’s production company “Movie Rock” which also produced the film “Midnight Runners.” For Kong Hyo-Jin she is close friends in real life with Son Ye-Jin which led her to accept the cameo role. Meanwhile, the poster below is a special “Kiss Poster” promoting the film. Movie is “Be with You” is based on novel “Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu” by Takuji Ichikawa.
