Teaser poster and release date for movie “High Society”

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming movie “High Society” starring Park Hae-Il, Soo-Ae and Lee Jin-Wook. The teaser poster has Park Hae-Il and Soo-Ae climbing stairs and the caption on the posters states in Korean “The most beautiful, but also the ugliest place.” Movie is directed by Byeon Hyeok (“The Scarlet Letter“/”Five Senses of Eros“).

“High Society” is now set for release August 29, 2018 in South Korea.

Hideaki Takizawa is cast in new WOWOW drama series “A Lone Scalpel”

Hideaki Takizawa is cast in new WOWOW drama series “A Lone Scalpel” (literal title). The drama series is based on novel “Kokou no Mesu: Gekai Toma Tetsuhiko“ by Roran Takayama and directed by Akira Uchikata. 2010 film “A Lone Scalpel” starring Shinichi Tsutsumi in the main character role is also based on the same novel. Story for the drama series will follow Tetsuhiko Toma (Hideaki Takizawa) as he attempts the first internal organ transplant surgery in Japan.

“A Lone Scalpel” will first air sometime next year in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “On Your Wedding Day”

Teaser trailer and poster added for upcoming romance film “On Your Wedding Day” starring Park Bo-Young and Kim Young-Kwang. Movie is scripted and directed by Lee Seok-Geun. The caption in Korean on the teaser poster asks ““Do you remember? Your first love.” Meanwhile still images below is of Park Bo-Young and Kim Young-Kwang in the upcoming film.

“On Your Wedding Day” is now set for release August 22, 2018 in South Korea.

Ep.1 trailer added for upcoming MBC drama series “Risky Romance” starring  Ji Hyun-Woo and Lee Si-Young. In addition, here’s two new posters for the drama series. The first poster features Ji Hyun-Woo and Lee Si-Young. The second poster features Ji Hyun-Woo, Lee Si-Young, Kim Jin-Yeop and Yoon Joo-Hee. The caption on the first poster states in Korean “Woman who is crazy about hormones! Man who is hurt by hormones!”

Masaharu Fukuyama and Yuriko Ishida cast in movie “Machine no Owari ni”

Masaharu Fukuyama and Yuriko Ishida are cast in movie “Machine no Owari ni.” The film is based on novel “Machine no Owari ni” by Keiichiro Hirano and directed by Hiroshi Nishitani (“Suspect X“/”Galileo“). Filming begins September, 2018 and finishes at the end of November, 2018. Shooing will take place in Japan, Paris and New York. In the film, Masaharu Fukuyama will play classical guitarist Satoshi Makino and Yuriko Ishida will play journalist Yoko Komine.

“Machine no Owari ni” will be released sometime during autumn, 2019 in Japan.

Uee cast in KBS2 drama series “My Beautiful Ally”

Uee is now cast in upcoming KBS2 weekend drama series “My Beautiful Ally” (literal title). For the drama series, Uee will play lead female character Kim Do-Ran. She learns that her parents are not her biological parents and the people who raised her committed murder.

“My Beautiful Ally” first airs September, 2018 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday and Sunday 8PM time slot after “Marry Me Now?“).

Ep.1 trailer added for upcoming JTBC drama series “Life” starring Lee Dong-Wook and Cho Seung-Woo. The drama series follows Dr. Ye Jin-Woo (Lee Dong-Wook) who is guided by his morals and hospital executive Koo Seung-Hyo (Cho Seung-Woo) who thinks about the bottom line above all else.

“Life” first airs July 23, 2018 in South Korea.

Masaki Suda cast in live-action film “The Great War of Archimedes”

Masaki Suda is cast in live-action film “The Great War of Archimedes.” The film is based on manga series “Archimedes no Taisen” by Norifusa Mita and is directed by Takashi Yamazaki (“Always: Sunset on Third Street“/”The Eternal Zero“). In the film, which is set in the 1930’s, Masaki Suda will play a genius mathematician. He tries to uncover a conspiracy related to the building of the world’s largest battleship Yamato.

Filming for “The Great War of Archimedes” is currently underway and will finish September, 2018.
