Main trailer added for period monster film “Monstrum” starring Kim Myung-Min, Kim In-KwonHyeriChoi Woo-Sik. The main trailer is notable as it shows for the first time in detail the monster that the main characters go up against. Meanwhile, above is a new teaser poster for the film which also shows the monster prominently. So, for all those people that dreamed of  a “Detective K vs. The Host” film, your prayers have just been answered.

Character posters for movie “The Great Battle”

Here’s 9 character posters from upcoming movie “The Great Battle.” The character posters are of Zo In-Sung, Nam Joo-Hyuk, Park Sung-Woong, Bae Sung-Woo, Um Tae-Goo, Seol Hyun (‘AOA’) , Park Byung-Eun, Oh Dae-Hwan and Jung Eun-Chae. Caption on Zo In-Sung’s character poster states “We did not learn how to retreat.” The film follows a battle that took place over 88 days as Goguryeo soldiers tried to defend Ansi Fortress from Tang forces.

“The Great Battle” will be released September 19, 2018 in South Korea.

Gou Ayano, Hana Sugisaki and Koichi Sato cast in movie “Paradise”

Gou Ayano, Hana Sugisaki and Koichi Sato are cast in crime film “Paradise” (“Rakuen”). The film is based on two short stories from “A Collection of Crime Stories” by Shuichi Yoshida  and directed by Takahisa Zeze. The film revolves around two kidnappings that took place over a 12 year period along the same road. Gou Ayano plays Takeshi, a suspect in the second kidnapping. Hana Sugisaki plays Tsumugi. She was with the girl prior to the first kidnapping. Koichi Sato plays town resident Zenjiro. Filming for the movie begins September 10, 2018 and finishes October, 2018.

“Paradise” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

First script reading for JTBC drama series “The Third Charm”

First script reading for JTBC drama series “The Third Charm” took place July, 2018 at JTBC building in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea. The script reading featured main cast members Seo Kang-Joon, Esom, Yang Dong-Geun, Lee Yoon-Ji, Park Gyu-Young, and Lee Sang-Yi. Story for “The Third Charm” tells a 12 year love story between On Joon-Young (Seo Kang-Joon) and Lee Young-Jae (Esom).

“The Third Charm” first airs September, 2018 in South Korea (takes over JTBC’s Friday and Saturday 11PM time slot after “ID: Gangnam Beauty“).

Teaser poster and release date for movie “Ao no Kaerimichi”

Teaser poster and release date for coming-of-age film “Ao no Kaerimichi” starring Erina Mano, Kurumi Shimizu and Ryusei Yokohama. Caption on the right side of the teaser poster states in Japanese “If I were a genius.” The theme song for the movie has also been revealed which is “Tarareba” by Japanese rock music group Amazarashi. Movie is directed by Michihito Fujii.

“Ao no Kaerimichi” will be released December 7, 2018 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster for movie “The Soul-Mate”

Main trailer added for comedy-supernatural-crime movie “The Soul-Mate” starring Ma Dong-Seok and Kim Young-Kwang. As you can see in the posters for the film, movie will be released in South Korea as “Wonderful Ghost,” but internationally the movie will have the title of “The Soul-Mate.” For the main trailer, captions in the trailer explain the characters of Jang-Soo (Ma Dong-Seok) and Tae-Jin (Kim Young-Kwang). Around the 14 second mark, Ma Dong-Seok’s caption states in Korean “Sense of justice 0%, judo gym director.” Around the 25 second mark, Kim Young-Kwan’s caption states “Sense of justice 200%, local police officer.”

“The Soul-Mate” is now set for release September 26, 2018 in South Korea.

Yudai Chiba cast in NTV drama series “Way Too Kawaii”

Yudai Chiba is cast in NTV drama series “Way Too Kawaii!” The drama series is based on 2012 novel  “Puriti ga Oosugiru” by Kozue Oosaki  Yudai Chiba will play the lead role of Yoshitaka Niimi. He transfers from a literary editor department to working at a fashion magazine. Supporting cast members will include Aimi Satsukawa, Keiko Horiuchi, Tetta Sugimoto, Akiyoshi Nakao, Mario Kuroba, Kinako Kobayashi, Reina Ikehata, Maimi Yajima, Rena Takeda, Mijika Nagai, Akaji Maro, Kurumi Shimizu, Asuka Moriyama, Tetsuhiro Ikeda and Miwako Shishido.

“Way Too Kawaii” first airs October 18, 2018 in Japan and consists of 10 episodes.

Yuki Furukawa cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Ten: Tenhodori No Kaidanji”

Yuki Furukawa is cast for a major supporting character role in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Ten: Tenhodori No Kaidanji” starring Goro Kishitani. The drama series is based on manga series “Kuroshitsuji” by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. Yuki Furukawa will play Hiroyuki Igawa. He hustles money by playing mahjong games against normal folks. He meets Takashi Ten (Goro Kishitani) and they decide to play against the best professional mahjong players. Yuki Furukawa in his real life has played mahjong for the past 11 years and started when he was a university student.

“Ten: Tenhodori No Kaidanji” will first air sometime this autumn in Japan.

Main trailer for movie “Feng Shui” starring Cho Seung-Woo, Ji Sung and Moon Chae-Won. Movie is directed by Park Hee-Kon (“Insadong Scandal“). The film should draw wide interest from Chou Seung-Woo currently starring in JTBC drama series “Life,” Ji Sung in tvN drama series “Familiar Wife” and Moon Chae-Won starring in upcoming tvN drama series “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter.”
