Teaser poster for movie “Miss Baek”

Here’s the first teaser poster for movie “Miss Baek” starring Han Ji-Min. Movie is directed by first time feature film director Lee Ji-Won. Story for “Miss Baek” follows a woman who became a convict because she was trying to protect herself. She meets a young girl (Kim Shi-A) who resembles her and they form a bond. Han Ji-Min is currently starring in tvN drama series “Familiar Wife.”

“Miss Baek” is now set for release sometime this October, 2018 in South Korea.

tvN drama series “Let’s Eat 3” shortened to 14 episodes

Currently airing tvN drama series “Let’s Eat 3” has been shortened to 14 episodes from its originally planned 16 episodes. The drama series will now finish a week earlier on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 rather than Tuesday, September 4, 2018. The reason for the 2 episode reduction is because lead actor Yoon Doo-Joon will enlist in the South Korean military on August 24, 2018. The screenplay has been condensed to fit into 14 episodes, but the general story line will stay true to the original 16 episode screenplay.

Park Sun-Ho and Kim So-Hye cast in Dramax drama series “Best Chicken”

Park Sun-Ho and Kim So-Hye (ex ‘I.O.I’ member) are cast in new Dramax drama series “Best Chicken” (working & literal title). The drama series is a joint project between South Korea and Japan. Dramax is cable channel in South Korea. Filming for “Best Chicken” will begin September, 2018. In the drama series, Park Sun-Ho will play a man who works for a big company, but dreams of running a chicken restaurant. Kim So-Hye will play a woman who is a recluse.

“Best Chicken” will first air sometime toward the end of this year in South Korea.

Main trailer for movie “Hahasan ga Donna ni Boku wo Kirai demo”

Main trailer for movie “Hahasan ga Donna ni Boku wo Kirai demo” starring Taiga and Yo Yoshida. The film is based on autobiographical manga “Hahasan ga Donna ni Boku wo Kirai demo” by Taiji Utagawa and directed by Osamu Minorikawa. A caption appears in the trailer around the 5 second mark stating in Japanese “I like my mother a lot.” The film itself deals with a young adult man (Taiga) attempting to reconnect with his mother (Yo Yoshida). As you can see from the trailer, the mother has/had serious anger management issues rivaling Joan Crawford in her glory days. The theme song for the movie has also been revealed which is”Seven Seas Journey” by Japanese a cappella group Gospellers.

“Hahasan ga Donna ni Boku wo Kirai demo” will be released November 16, 2018 in Japan.

Here’s two main posters for upcoming OCN drama series “The Guest” starring Kim Dong-Wook, Kim Jae-WookJung Eun-Chae. The main trailer is notable as it shows for the first time in detail the monster that the main characters go up against. Here’s 9 character posters from upcoming movie “The Great Battle.” The character posters are of Zo In-Sung, Nam Joo-Hyuk, Park Sung-Woong, Bae Sung-Woo, Um Tae-Goo, Seol Hyun (‘AOA’) , Park Byung-Eun, Oh Dae-Hwan and Jung Eun-Chae. Caption on Zo In-Sung’s character poster states “We did not learn how to retreat.” The film follows a battle that took place over 88 days as Goguryeo soldiers tried to defend Ansi Fortress from Tang forces.
