Teaser trailer for KBS2 weekday morning drama series “Madam Cha Dal-Rae’s Love”

Teaser trailer added for KBS2 weekday morning drama series “Madam Cha Dal-Rae’s Love” (literal title) starring Ha Hee-Ra, Ahn Sun-Young & Ko Eun-Mi. The drama series will slot into KBS2’s Monday-Friday 9AM morning time slot from September 3, 2018 (“Waves, Waves” previously occupied that time slot).

Meanwhile, the first script reading for the drama series took place August 6, 2018 at KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. Main cast members including Ha Hee-Ra, Ahn Sun-Young, Ko Eun-Mi, Kim Eung-Soo, Kim Hyeong-Beom, and Jung Wook all attended. Before the script first reading began, director Ko Yang-Tak stated “Let’s make a happy working site for all of us and show fun a drama series to viewers.”

Kenshi Okada is cast in TBS drama series “Chugakusei Nikki”

Kenshi Okada is cast in TBS drama series “Chugakusei Nikki” starring Kasumi Arimura. Kenshi Okada will make his acting debut with his performance in this drama series. He got the role after going through auditions that took place over a 1 year period. Kenshi Okada will play Akira Kuroiwa. He is 15 years old and in the 3rd grade of middle school. He falls in love with his homeroom teacher Hijiri Suenaga (Kasumi Arimura). He knows she is engaged to Shotaro Kawai (Keita Machida), but he still express his feeling to her.

Park Ho-San & Baro cast in supporting roles for MBC drama series “Bad Detective”

Park Ho-San & Baro are cast in supporting roles for MBC drama series “Bad Detective” (literal title) starring Shin Ha-Kyun. The drama series is a remake of British TV series “Luther” starring Idris Elba. For “Bad Detective,” Park Ho-San will play Jeon Choon-Man. He is the chief of a regional investigation unit and is in a confrontation with main character Woo Tae-Seok (Shin Ha-Kyun ). Baro will play Hwang Dong-Yoon. He is a detective and admires Woo Tae-Seok.

“Bad Detective” first airs October, 2018 in South Korea.

Main poster added for movie “The Antique” starring Haru Kuroki and Shuhei Nomura. Ryu Deok-Hwan cast in OCN drama series “Quiz from God: Reboot”

Ryu Deok-Hwan is cast in OCN drama series “Quiz from God: Reboot.” The drama series is the 5th season in the “Quiz From God” franchise. Ryu Deok-Hwan will reprise his main character role of Han Jin-Woo. He works as a doctor in the medical examiner’s office. He was the youngest man in Korea to become a doctor.

“Quiz from God: Reboot” first airs November, 2018 (takes over OCN’s Wednesday & Thursday 11PM time slot after “The Guest“).

Mitsuki Takahata & Ryoma Takeuchi cast in NTV drama special “Overprotected Kahoko: 2018 Love & Dream”

Mitsuki Takahata & Ryoma Takeuchi are cast in NTV drama special “Overprotected Kahoko: 2018 Love & Dream.” The drama special is a sequel to last year’s NTV drama series “Overprotected Kahoko” (“Kahogo no Kahoko”). Story for the drama special is set one year after the drama special. Kahoko Nemoto (Mitsuki Takahata) is married to Hajime Mugino (Ryoma Takeuchi) and juggles housework duties with running her daycare center “Kahoko House.” Most of the supporting actors from the original drama series will also reprise their respective roles. New supporting characters will be played by Emi Kurara and Ayumu Yokoyama.

“Overprotected Kahoko: 2018 Love & Dream” will first air September 19, 2018 in Japan.

English subtitled teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “The Negotiation” starring Son Ye-Jin and Hyun-Bin. The movie features Hyun-Bin playing a villain for the first time in his acting career. He kidnaps Korean nationals in Bangkok, Thailand. Son Ye-Jin plays the negotiator that only has a few hours to save the lives of the hostages.
