Shuhei Nomura and Hinako Sakurai cast in TV Asahi live-action drama series “I Give My First Love to You”

Shuhei Nomura and Hinako Sakurai are cast in TV Asahi live-action drama series “I Give My First Love to You” (literal title). The drama series is based on manga series “Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu” by Kotomi Aoki. 2009 movie “I Give My First Love to You,” starring Mao Inoue and Masaki Okada,
is also based on the same manga series. Also cast in supporting roles for the drama series are Fumika Baba, Airi Matsui, Honoka Yahagi, Takumi Kizu, Kentaro Tomita, Riko Fukumoto, Hitomi Korenaga, Sei Matobu and Hikari Ishida. Story for the drama series follows the romance between Takuma Kakinouchi (Shuhei Nomura) and Mayu Taneda (Hinako Sakurai). They first met at the age of 8, when they were hospital patients. They meet again as high school students.

“I Give My First Love to You” first airs January, 2019 in Japan.

Teaser trailer #1 added for upcoming SBS drama series “My Strange Hero” (literal title “Bok-Soo’s Back”) starring Yoo Seung-Ho and Jo Bo-Ah. The prior teasers were actually “pre-teasers” for the drama series. Teaser trailer #1 shows Kang Bok-Soo (Yoo Seung-Ho) returning into the life of teacher Son Soo-Jung (Jo Bo-Ah). She’s not sure how or when he came back.

Teaser trailer #2 added for SBS drama special “He Hymn of Death” starring Lee Jong-Suk and Shin Hye-Sun. Teaser trailer #2 begins with narration by Lee Jong-Suk stating “Hot, this heart.. stuffy, this heart” Meanwhile, below are the first still images of Shin Hye-Sun and Lee Jong-Suk from the drama special. “He Hymn of Death” is based on the true story of Korea’s first professional soprano Yun Sim-Deok and Kim Woo-Jin.

His long list of comedy hits include classics like “Waterboys,” “Swing Girl,” “Happy Flight” and “Wood Job!.” In movie “Dance with Me,” Ayaka Miyosh plays office worker Shizuka Suzuki. She is hypnotized into dancing whenever a ringtone plays.

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Just Dance.” Meanwhile, above is a dance poster for the drama series. On the poster are Park Se-Wan, Jang Dong-Yoon, Lee Joo-Young, Joo Hae-Eun, Shin Do-Hyun, Lee Yoo-Mi and Kim Soo-Hyun. Shooting for the poster took place October, 2018 in Geoje, South Korea. While filming for the drama series, the 6 actresses and 1 actor live together in Geoje. This is to build chemistry and friendship for the drama series.

Koichi Sato and Ken Watanabe cast in movie “Fukushima 50”

Koichi Sato and Ken Watanabe are cast in movie “Fukushima 50.” The film is based on 2012 nonfiction novel “Shi no Fuchi o Mita Otoko: Yoshida Masao to Fukushima Daiichi Genpatsu no 500-nichi” by Ryusho Kadota and directed by Setsuro Wakamatsu (“The Unbroken“). Story for “Fukushima 50” takes place over 5 days during the crisis at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant first caused by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Koichi Sato and Ken Watanabe play employees at the nuclear power plant. 50 workers stay at the power after it is hit by the tsunami and try to contain a horrific situation. Filming for “Fukushima 50” begins late November, 2018 and finishes lat January, 2019.

“Fukushima 50” will be released sometime during 2020 in Japan.
