Yoshino Kimura cast in Fuji TV drama series “Black Widow Business”

Yoshino Kimura is cast for the lead role in Fuji TV drama series “Black Widow Business.” The drama series is based on 2014 novel “Gosaigyo” by Hiroyuki Kurokawa. 2016 movie “Black Widow Business,” starring Shinobu Otake, is also based on the same novel. Cast in major supporting character roles in Fuji TV drama series “Black Widow Business” are Katsunori Takahashi, Tae Kimura and Tsuyoshi Ihara. The screenplay has Yoshino Kimura playing Sayoko Takeuchi. She works with Toru Kashiwagi (Katsunori Takahashi) in targeting wealthy elderly man to marry. Tae Kimura will play Tomomi Nakase. Her father married Sayoko Takeuchi prior to passing away. She tries to stop Sayoko Takeuchi from gaining her father’s wealth.

“Black Widow Business” first airs January 22, 2019 in Japan.

Movie is based on manga “Haha o Nakushita Toki, Boku wa Ikotsu o Tabetai to Omotta” by Satoshi Miyagawa and directed by Tatsushi Omori. The film deals with the relationship between a mother, her son and her daughter-in-law, before and after the mother’s death.

Meanwhile, the 3 still images below are of Lee Min-Jung as Goo Hae-Ra. The first two still images shows scenes of Goo Hae-Ra in turmoil due to loan sharks harassing her. She contemplates taking her own life. The third still is from a scene in which Goo Hae-Ra is like a new person, full of energy and ambition.

Trailer for movie “Samurai Marathon 1855” starring Takeru Satoh, Nana Komatsu, Mirai Moriyama and Shota Sometani. Movie is based on 2014 novel “Bakumatsu Marason Samurai” by Akihiro Dobashi and directed by British film director Bernard Rose. The story has Jinnai Karasawa (Takeru Satoh) running in a marathon to save the domain head from assassins sent by the central Edo government.

Teaser trailer #2 added for SBS drama series “Kangnam Scandal” Shin Go-Eun, Im Yoon-Ho and Seo Do-Young. The drama series is a weekday morning series that will take over SBS’ 8:40 AM time slot after “I Am The Mother Too.” Story for “Kangnam Scandal” follows a woman who needs money to pay for her mother’s surgery and goes after a wealthy man to solve her problems.

“Kangnam Scandal” first airs November 26, 2018 in South Korea.

Trailer and poster for movie “Until I Meet September’s Love”

Main trailer and poster added for upcoming movie “Until I Meet September’s Love” starring Issey Takahashi and Haruna Kawaguchi. Movie is based on 2007 novel “Kugatsu no Koi to Deau Made” by Yumi Matsuo and directed by Toru Yamamoto (“G’mor evian!“). Meanwhile, the theme song for the movie has been announced which is “Koi” by rock band Androp. The theme song appears in the main trailer. The trailer begins with captions in Japanese that says “Here is the future 1 year later.” Supporting cast members have also been announced for the film which includes Kenta Hamano, Yuko Nakamura, Rina Kawaei, Yutaro Furutachi and Mickey Curtis.

“Until I Meet September’s Love” is now scheduled for release March 1, 2019 in Japan.

Shuhei Nomura cast in movie “Walking Man”

Shuhei Nomura is cast in movie “Walking Man.” In the film, Shuhei Nomura will play main character Atomu. The film itself incorporates real life experiences of rapper Anarchy and he also directs the film. The film also marks Anarchy’s first time directing a movie. Filming for “Walking Man” will begin November 20, 2018.

“Walking Man” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
