Kou Shibasaki is cast in WOWOW drama series “The House on the Slope” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2016 novel “Saka no Tochu no Ie” by Mitsuyo Kakuta (“The Eighth Day“/”Paper Moon“). For the drama series, Kou Shibasaki will play housewife and mother Risako Yamazaki. She is selected to take part in a murder trial involving a mother who killed her own infant daughter. In addition, a teaser trailer for the drama series has been added on AsianWiki.
“The House on the Slope” first airs sometime spring, 2019.
