Actors Yoo Ah-In and Yoo Jae-Myung are cast in new movie “Without a Sound” (literal title). The film is written and directed by first time feature film director Hong Ui-Jung. In the film, Yoo Ah-In and Yoo Jae-Myung play men who work for a crime organization. Their job is to fix messes created by their group.
Filming for “Without a Sound” will begin July, 2019 and the movie is expected to be released sometime next year in South Korea.

Teaser poster and teaser trailer added for upcoming MBN-Dramax drama series “Level Up” starring Sung Hoon and Han Bo-Reum. The poster features Sung Hoon as Dan-Te and Han Bo-Reum as Shin Yeon-Hwa. They struggle to save gaming company Joybuster from bankruptcy.
“Level Up” first airs July 10, 2019 in South Korea.
Takuya Kimura is cast for the lead role Fuji TV drama special “Kyojo.” The drama special is based on 2011 novel “Kyojo” by Hiroki Nagaoka. Isamu Nakae (“Hundred Million Stars From the Sky“/”Dr. Koto Shinryojo“) directs the drama special and Ryoichi Kimizuka (“Bayside Shakedown“) writes the screenplay adaptation. In “Kyojo,” Takuya Kimura will play Kimichika Kazama. He is a strict instructor at a police acadamey.
“Kyojo” will consist of 2 episodes and air January, 2020 in Japan.
Woo Do-Hwan is cast in drama series “The King: Monarch of Eternity” (literal title) starring Lee Min-Ho and Kim Go-Eun. For the drama series, Woo Do-Hwan will play dual roles of public service worker Jo Eun-Seob in present day South Korea and Jo Young, the bodyguard of Korean Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min-Ho), in a parallel world. Drama series is scripted by Kim Eun-Sook who has scripted such hit series as “Secret Garden,” “The Heirs,” “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin” and “Mr. Sunshine.”
“The King: Monarch of Eternity” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea.
First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Hotel Del Luna” starring IU and Yeo Jin-Goo. The teaser doesn’t show any of the performers from the drama series, but rather provides night shots of Seoul with the moon in the background and IU’s voice over teases “Hotel Del Luna. July Grand Opening.”
“Hotel Del Luna” is now set to first air July, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Arthdal Chronicles.”).

Here’s the first teaser poster and still images for upcoming tvN drama series “Designated Survivor: 60 Days” starring Ji Jin-Hee. The drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “Designated Survivor,” which first aired on ABC in 2016. Tatsuya Fujiwara is cast in live-action film “Kaiji Final Game.” The film is a sequel to 2009 film “Kaiji” and 2011 film “Kaiji 2.” “Kaiji Final Game” is based on manga series “Kaiji” by Nobuyuki Fukumoto and he also wrote an original screenplay for the movie. Sota Fukushi, Nagisa Sekimizu, Mackenyu Arata and Kotaro Yoshida are cast in supporting roles for the movie. Toya Sato who directed the first two “Kaiji” films also returns to direct “Kaiji Final Game.”
Filming for “Kaiji Final Game” is already finished and the movie will be released January 10, 2020 in Japan.

Aya Asahina is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Runway 24.” In the drama series, Aya Asahina will play Momoko Inoue. She tries to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a pilot. Her employer is Peach Airlines, which is a real low cost airline based out of Japan. Also cast in the drama series is Atsuhiro Inukai, Shunya Shiraishi, ko-dai (Sonar Pocket), Erika Denya, Ami Hachiya, Manabu Ino, Tomoharu Hasegawa and Hisahiro Ogura.
“Runway 24” will first air July 6, 2019 in Japan.
Ju Ji-Hoon and Song Hye-Kyo have been offered the lead roles in new KBS2 drama series “Hyena.” Both performers are currently “considering” their offers. If Ju Ji-Hoon accepts his offer, he will play attorney Yoon Hee-Jae. if Song Hye-Kyo accepts her offer, she will play attorney Jung Geum-Ja. Their clients are the top 1% in South Korea.
“Hyena” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea in KBS2’s Wednesday & Thursday 10PM time slot.
