Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming action-comedy film “Exit” starring Cho Jung-Seok and Yoona (Girls’ Generation). The teaser poster shows Yong-Nam (Cho Jung-Seok) and Ui-Joo (Yoona) escaping from poisonous gas that spreads across the city. Movie is directed by first time feature film director Lee Sang-Geun.
“Exit” is now scheduled for release sometime during July, 2019 in South Korea.
Teaser trailer #5 added for tvN drama series “Designated Survivor: 60 Days” starring Ji Jin-Hee. The drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “Designated Survivor” starring Kiefer Sutherland. Teaser trailer #5 begins with the voice of supporting character Han Joo-Seung (Heo Jun-Ho) stating “You Mr. Minister have been delegated all authority and duty as the acting President for the next 60 days.” Above is a group poster for the upcoming drama series.

Here’s the first two teaser posters for upcoming JTBC drama series “Moment of Eighteen” (literal title) starring Ong Seong-Wu and Kim Hyang-Gi. The teaser posters features Ong Seong-We as 18-year-old Choi Joon-Woo.
“Moment of Eighteen” is now scheduled to first air July 22, 2019 in South Korea (takes over JTBC’s Monday and Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “The Wind Blows“).
Teaser trailer added for upcoming Netflix drama series “The Naked Director” starring Takayuki Yamada. The drama series is based on 2016 novel “Zenra Kantoku Muranishi Toru Den” by Nobuhiro Motohashi and is based on the true story of adult film director Toru Muranishi. Masaharu Take (“100 Yen Love“) will direct the drama series.
“The Naked Director” will be available to stream on Netflix from August 8, 2019.
Kim Go-Eun is cast in movie “Hero” co-starring Jung Sung-Hwa. The movie is based on musical “Youngwoong” and the movie version will be directed by Yoon Je-Kyun (“Ode To My Father“). The musical itself covers the assassination of Hirobumi Ito (who was the first Japanese Resident-General of Korea) and his assassination by Korean independence activist An Jung-Geun in 1909. Jung Sung-Hwa plays An Jung-Geun in the musical and now the movie version. For Kim Go-Eun, she will play the fictional character of Seol-Hee. She becomes a member of the Korean independence movement and a geisha who informs the movement on Hirobumi Ito’s activity.
Filming for “Hero” will take place in the second half of 2019 and the movie will be released sometime next year in South Korea. Shooting locations will take place in Russia, China, Japan and South Korea.
Teaser poster added for SBS drama series “Doctor Detective” starring Park Jin-Hee and Bong Tae-Gyu. Caption on the teaser poster states in Korean “Industrial accident medical investigation drama ‘Doctor Detective’ you have already been poisoned.” Park Jin-Hee and Bong Tae-Gyu play medical doctors who investigates accidents at industrial sites.
“Doctor Detective” is now set to first air July 17, 2019.
Trailer #2 added for upcoming live-action film “Tokyo Ghoul ‘S’” starring Masataka Kubota, Shota Matsuda and Maika Yamamoto. Movie is based on manga series “Tokyo Ghoul” by Sui Ishida. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed which is “Introduction” by Japanese rock band “Queen Bee.” A photo of the band is below.

Choi Gang-Hee is cast for the lead role in new SBS drama series “Miscasting.” The drama series will be directed by Choi Hyeong-Hun (“High Society“/”Five Fingers“). In the drama series, Choi Gang-Hee will play NIS agent Baek Chan-Mi. She goes undercover to work on a case involving leakage of corporate data at Korea’s largest company.
“Miscasting” will first air November, 2019 in South Korea, slotting into SBS’ Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot.
Teaser trailer #3 added for upcoming tvN drama series “Hotel Del Luna” starring IU and Yeo Jin-Goo. Teaser trailer #3 shows a bit more of IU as Hotel CEO Jang Man-Wol and Yeo Jin-Goo as hotel manager Koo Chan-Sung. At the 7 second mark, Yeo Jin-Goo’s voice appears and he states in Korean “Welcome, we will give you the best service.” IU’s voice follows and states “…Only for ghosts.”
“Hotel Del Luna” is now scheduled to first air July 13, 2019 in South Korea.
Ryoko Yonekura is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Doctor-X” (Season 6). Also returning to play supporting characters in the drama series are Kenichi Endo, Yuki Uchida, Masanobu Katsumura, Kosuke Suzuki, Ittoku Kishibe and Toshiyuki Nishida.
Season 6 of “Doctor X” will first air October, 2019 in Japan (takes over TV Asahi’s Thursday 9PM time slot after “Sign“).
