Main trailer & poster for movie “Homme Fatale”

Main trailer and poster added for period-comedy film “Homme Fatale” starring Lee Joon-Ho (2PM) and Jung So-Min. Caption on the main poster states in Korean “Don’t worry, just enjoy.” The film is about the first male gisaeng (Lee Joon-Ho) in Joseon who tries to save the gibang (where he works) from bankruptcy. Movie is written and directed by Nam Dae-Joong (“The Last Ride“).

“Homme Fatale” will be released July 10, 2019 in South Korea.

First two teaser posters for OCN drama series “Class of Lies”

Here’s the first two teaser posters for upcoming OCN drama series “Class of Lies” (English title) starring Yoon Gyun-Sang and Keum Sae-Rok. The literal title of the drama series is “Mr. Temporary.” The teaser posters features Yoon Gyun-Sang as Ki Moo-Hyeok. Caption on both of the teaser posters states in Korean “In order to reveal the truth his infiltration operation begins.”

In addition, ep.1 air date is now set for July 17, 2019 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Wednesday and Thursday 11PM time slot after “Save Me 2“)

Teaser trailer for live-action film “The Flowers of Evil” starring Kentaro Ito and Tina Tamashiro. Movie is based on manga series “Aku no Hana” by Shuzo Oshimi and directed by Noboru Iguchi. Meanwhile, below are two teaser posters for the movie. The teaser posters are of Kentaro Ito as Takao Kasuga and Tina Tamashiro as Sawa Nakamura.

Song Joong-Ki & Kim Tae-Ri cast in movie “Spaceship Victory”

Song Joong-Ki & Kim Tae-Ri are cast in sci-fi film “Spaceship Victory” (working & literal title). The film reunites movie director Jo Sung-Hee and Song Joong-Ki who previously collaborated in hit 2012 genre film “A Werewolf Boy.” Also cast in supporting roles are Jin Seon-Kyu and Yu Hae-Jin. Kim Tae-Ri will play the captain of a spaceship and Song Joong-Ki will play a pilot of the spaceship.

“Spaceship Victory” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

Masaki Suda & Nana Komatsu cast in movie “Tapestry”

Masaki Suda and Nana Komatsu are cast in romance film “Tapestry” (literal title). The film is motivated by the song “Ito” by folk singer-songwriter Miyuki Nakajima. The track “Ito” was first released October, 1992 on her album “East Asia.” Movie “Tapestry” will be directed by Takahisa Zeze and scripted by Tamio Hayashi. Story for the film will depict an 18 year romance between two people who now are 31 years old.

Filming for “Tapestry” will take place from July, 2019 to September, 2019 and then in the winter. Filming locations in Japan will include Hokkaido, Tokyo and Okinawa, while some scenes will also be filmed in Singapore. “Tapestry” will be released sometime in 20202 in Japan.

Kim Hye-Yoon & Ro Woon (‘SF9’) cast in MBC drama “Ha-Roo Found by Chance”

Kim Hye-Yoon & Ro Woon (‘SF9’) are cast for lead roles in “Ha-Roo Found by Chance” (literal title). Lee Jae-Wook is also cast for a major supporting character role. The drama series is based on 2018 webcomic “Eojjeoda Balgyeonhan 7wol” by Moo Ryoo. The drama series features a fantasy-romance script somewhat like “W: Two Worlds Apart.” For lead actress Kim Hye-Yoon, “Ha-Roo Found By Chance” is her first drama series role since playing a main character in hit JTBC drama series “SKY Castle.” In “Ha-Roo Found By Chance,” Kim Hye-Yoon will play a high school student who learns she is a character in comic and a minor character too boot. She falls in love with a minor character played by Ro Woon.

“Ha-Roo Found by Chance” first airs September, 2019 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday & Thursday 9PM time slot after “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung“).

Teaser trailer #2 added for tvN drama series “Hotel Del Luna” starring IU and Yeo Jin-Goo. Teaser trailer #2 is similar to the first teaser trailer, except teaser trailer #2 briefly shows IU as Jang Man-Wol and Yeo Jin-Goo as Koo Chan-Sung for the first time. Also the voice over tease this time around is done by Yeo Jin-Goo when he states in Korean “Hotel Del Luna. July Grand Opening.”

Trailer for movie “Aesop’s Game”

Trailer added for movie “Aesop’s Game” starring Ruka Ishikawa, Hiroe Igeta and Guama. The film is directed by Shinichiro UedaNaoya Asanuma and Yuya Nakaizumi who all worked together on 2018 film festival favorite “One Cut of the Dead.” Shinichiro Ueda directed “One Cut of the Dead,” while Naoya Asanuma and Yuya Nakaizumi worked as crew members on that film. Story for “Aesop’s Game” involves three very different girls who somehow cheats and revenges each other.

“Aesop’s Game” will have its world premiere as the opening film of this year’s  Skip City International D-Cinema Festival (July 13-21, 2019) and then have its general release August 16, 2019 in Japan.

Teaser trailer #2 and 3 teaser posters added for upcoming OCN drama series “Watcher” starring Han Suk-Kyu, Seo Kang-Joon and Kim Hyun-Joo. The 3 teaser posters features Han Suk-Kyu as Do Chi-Gwang, Seo Kang-Joon as Kim Young-Koon and Kim Hyun-Joo as Han Tae-Joo. They are all members of a police internal affairs investigation team. Teaser trailer #2 features Han Suk-Kyu as Detective Do Chi-Gwang. Around the 19 second mark, his voice appears and he asks in Korean “Who watches observers?” At around the 25 second mark, Han Suk-Kyu teases “Internal inspection thriller. Watcher.”
