Lee Sung-Min & Nam Joo-Hyuk cast in movie “Remember”

Lee Sung-Min & Nam Joo-Hyuk cast in revenge film “Remember.” The film will be the second feature film directed by Lee Il-Hyeong after 2016 film “A Violent Prosecutor.” In the movie “Remember,” Lee Sung-Min will play a man his 80’s. He goes after the man that caused him so much pain when Korea was under Japanese occupation. Nam Joo-Hyuk will play a man who helps the old man in his revenge plan. Filming for “Remember” is scheduled to begin February, 2020 in South Korea.

Trailer for live-action film “Love and Murder of Sheep and Wolf”

Main trailer added for live-action film “Love and Murder of Sheep and Wolf” (literal title) starring Yosuke Sugino and Haruka Fukuhara. The film is based on manga series “Ana Satsujin” by Rahson and directed by Kayoko Asakura (“It’s a Beautiful Day“). Whether you speak Japanese or not, the trailer reveals the premise very well with physical action. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed which is “Ienai Kiss wo Shite” by singer RöE (photo of her below). The theme song is featured in the main trailer.

“Love and Murder of Sheep and Wolf” will be released November 29, 2019.

Teaser trailer & two posters for movie “First Love”

Teaser trailer and two posters added for Takashi Miike directed film “First Love.” The film stars Masataka Kubota as boxer Reo Katsuragi and Sakurako Konishi as drug addicted Monika. The two are chased by the yakuza. Caption on the duo poster states in Japanese “The first love which met during the last moment of life.” Caption on the main cast poster states “Without one of them, this love did not exist without one of them missing.”

“First Love” opens February 28, 2020 in Japan.

Kim Hee-Seon offered lead female role in SBS drama series “Alice”

Kim Hee-Seon has been offered the lead female role in SBS drama series “Alice.” Actor Joo Won has already received an offer to play the lead male role and both performers are currently “positively considering” their offers. If Kim Hee-Seon accepts, she will play physicist Yoon Tae-Yi. She holds a key to time travel. The drama series will revolve around Hotel Alice, where people come to travel back in time. For actor Joo Won, this would be his first acting role since being discharged from the military on February 5, 2019.

“Alice” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for movie “I Tried Dying Once” starring Suzu Hirose, Ryo Yoshizawa and Shinichi Tsutsumi. Movie is the first feature film directed by CM director Shinji Hamasaki and scripted by Yoshimitsu Sawamoto. Besides the English caption on the teaser poster that states “Will Be Back,” the Japanese caption states “Come back to life! Shitty father!”

“I Tried Dying Once” is set for release March 20, 2020 in Japan.

First script reading for TV Chosun drama series “Leverage”

First script reading for TV Chosun drama series “Leverage,” starring Lee Dong-Gun, Jeon Hye-Bin, Kim Sae-Ron, Kim Kwon & Yeo Hoi-Hyeon, took place August, 2019 in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. The drama series is a remake of U.S. TV series “Leverage” that ran on cable channel TNT from 2008-2012. The first script reading was attended by all of the main cast members.

“Leverage” will first air October 13, 2019 in South Korea.

Han Suk-Kyu, Lee Sung-Kyung and Ahn Hyo-Seop are cast in SBS sequel drama series “Dr. Romantic 2.” Han Suk-Kyu will reprise his title character of Teacher Kim A.K.A. Dr. Romantic. Meanwhile, Lee Sung-Kyung and Ahn Hyo-Seop will play new characters that were not in the original 2016 SBS drama series “Dr. Romantic.” Both Lee Sung-Kyung and Ahn Hyo-Seop will play doctors on fellowships who encounter the odd Dr. Romantic.

“Dr. Romantic 2” will first air January, 2020 in South Korea.

Shin Ye-Eun cast in KBS2 drama series “Weclome”

Shin Ye-Eun is cast in new KBS2 drama series “Weclome” (literal title) co-starring Kim Myung-Soo (INFINITE). Shin Ye-Eun previously starred in tvN drama series “He is Psychometric” where her male co-lead Jin Young had special psychometry powers. This time around, her male co-lead Kim Myung-Soo will have special powers to transform from a cat into a human. In “Welcome,” Shin Ye-Eun will play Sol-A. Her character takes home a cat that can transform into a man. “Welcome” is based on webcomic “Eoseowa” by Go A-Ra.

“Welcome” will air from March, 2020 in South Korea.
