Takahiro Miura & Kaho cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Eat And Sleep at Camp Alone”

Takahiro Miura and Kaho are cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Eat And Sleep at Camp Alone” (literal title of “Hitori Kyanpu de Kutte Neru”). The drama series will be directed by Satoko Yokohama (“Bare Essence of Life“) and Masanori Tominaga (“The Pavillion Salamandre“). The drama series will revolve around two people who become fascinated with food by spending time at campgrounds.

“Eat And Sleep at Camp Alone” will first air October 18, 2019 in Japan.

Teaser trailer #2 and teaser poster added for KBS2 drama series “When the Camellia Blooms” starring Kong Hyo-Jin and Kang Ha-Neul. The trailer starts off with cute dialogue between Kong Hyo-Jin’s Dong-Baek and Kang Ha-Neul’s Hwang Yong-Sik. In the teaser, Kong Hyo-Jin tells Kang Ha-Neul that “You are not type of my guy.” Kang Ha-Neul then asks “What is your ideal type of guy?” Kong Hyo-Jin then replies with the name of actor “Gong Yoo.” Below is the first teaser poster for the drama series and still images of the two leads.

Hye-Soo & Ju Ji-Hoon cast in SBS drama series “Hyena”

Kim Hye-Soo and Ju Ji-Hoon are cast for lead roles in SBS drama series “Hyena.” Song Hye-Ko was first offered the lead female role, but she declined. The drama series centers around two attorneys, played by Kim Hye-Soo and Ju Ji-Hoon, who work for the top one percenters in society. The drama series will be directed by Jang Tae-Yoo (“Tree With Deep Roots“/”My Love From the Star“). “Hyena” was originally scheduled to air on KBS2, but has moved to SBS.

“Hyena” is tentatively scheduled to air from February, 2020 in South Korea.

Here’s the first two teaser posters for KBS2 drama series “The Tale of Nokdu” starring Jang Dong-Yoon and Kim So-Hyun. The teaser posters features Jang Dong-Yoon as Jeon Nok-Du and Kim So-Hyun as Dong Dong-Ju. Caption on Jang Dong-Yoon’s poster states “Jeon Nok-Du – man dresses up like a woman who has a secret.” Kim So-Hyun’s poster states “Dong Dong-Ju – Fairy in bobbed hair of widow village.”

Teaser poster for movie “Romance Doll”

Teaser poster added for movie “Romance Doll” starring Issey Takahashi and Yu Aoi. Movie is based on 2009 novel “Romance Doll” by Yuki Tanada and also directed by her. Yuki Tanada has previously worked with actor Issey Takahashi in 2019 TV Asahi drama series “Tokyo Bachelors” and with actress Yu Aoi in 2008 movie “One Million Yen and the Nigamushi Woman.” Story for “Romance Doll” follows a husband and wife who both have secrets. The husband’s secret is that he makes sex dolls.

“Romance Doll” is now set for release January 24, 2020 in Japan.

Song Kang-Ho & Lee Byung-Hun cast in movie “Emergency Declaration”

Song Kang-Ho and Lee Byung-Hun are cast in movie “Emergency Declaration” (literal title). The film will deal with an airplane that must declare an emergency and do an emergency landing. Movie will be directed by Han Jae-Rim. He has previously worked with Song Kang-Ho in 2007 movie “The Show Must Go On” and 2013 movie “The Face Reader.” This is the first time Han Jae-Rim and Lee Byung-Hun will work together. Filming for the movie will take sometime in the first half of 2020.

Hwang Jung-Eum, Yook Sung-Jae, Choi Won-Young and Lee Joon-Hyuk cast in JTBC drama series “Ssanggab Cart Bar”

Hwang Jung-Eum, Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’), Choi Won-Young and Lee Joon-Hyuk are all cast in JTBC drama series “Ssanggab Cart Bar.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Ssanggabpocha” by Bae Hye-Soo and directed by Jeon Chang-Geun (“The Package“). The drama series will have Hwang Jung-Eum playing main character Wol-Joo. She runs a mysterious food cart that opens only at night and on the rooftop of a building. Customers include both the living and the dead. Filming begins September, 2019.

“Ssanggab Cart Bar” will first air sometime during the first half of 2020 in South Korea.

Ayami Nakajo cast in movie “Flight on the Water”

Ayami Nakajo is cast in movie “Flight on the Water” (literal title of “Suijo no Furaito”). The film is directed by Atsushi Kaneshige (“Kiseki: Sobito of That Day “) and scripted by Akihiro Dobashi (“Samurai Hustle“) and Atsushi Kaneshige. The film will have Ayami Nakjo playing an athlete who becomes paralyzed form the waist down. She then takes part in the sport of paracanoe. Filming for “Flight on the Water” will begin August, 2019 and finish mid-September, 2018. Filming locations will include Tokyo and Central Japan.

“Flight on the Water” will be released sometime in 2020 in Japan.

First two teaser trailers for tvN drama series “Melting Me Softly” starring Ji Chang-Wook and Won Jin-A. The first teaser trailer features Ji Chang-Wook as Ma Dong-Chan and the second teaser trailer features Won Jin-A as Ko Mi-Ran. Teaser trailer #1 starts with Ji Chang-Wook stating “I dreamed of becoming a legend in the broadcasting industry via a freezing human project. 2019? I woke up 20 years later. 20 years.” Teaser trailer #2 has Won Jin-A narrating with “Freezing human being project. I was supposed to be unfrozen 24 hours later … but I woke up 20 years later. What am I supposed to do now?”

“Melting Me Softly” first airs September 28, 2019 in South Korea.
