Yoo Yeon-Seok and Esom cast in SBS drama “Shin Yi-Rang Law Office”

Yoo Yeon-Seok and Esom are cast in SBS drama series “Shin Yi-Rang Law Office” (literal title). Both of the leads will play attorney with exceptional abilities in different ways. Yoo Yeon-Seok will play Shin Yi-Rang. After he opens his law office in a former shaman’s home, he begins to see and hear ghosts. Esom will play Han Na-Hyun. She is a top lawyer, who is calculating and ruthless when it comes to winning. These two lawyers team up to solve cases involving the ghosts.

“Shin Yi-Rang Law Office” will first air sometime during the first half of 2026 in South Korea.

Ryuhei Matsuda cast in TV Asahi drama “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo”

Ryuhei Matsuda is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo.” Director Shuichi Okita, who previously worked with Ryuhei Matsuda in movie “The Mohican Comes Home” and drama series “0.5 no Otoko,” co-writes the screenplay and co-directs the drama series. “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo” is setup as a human mystery drama series revolving around Yosuke Ichinose (Ryuhei Matsuda). He is a detective, but also an inventor.

“Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo” will first air January, 2026 in Japan (takes over TV Asahi’s Friday 11:15 PM time slot after “24 Hours with My Bodyguard Season 2“).

Ju Ji-Hoon & Ha Ji-Won are cast for lead roles in ENA-Genie TV drama series “Climax.” Also cast in major supporting character roles are Nana, Oh Jung-Se, & Cha Joo-Young. The drama series is scripted and directed by Lee Ji-Won (“Miss Baek“). The screenplay will have Ju Ji-Hoon play Prosecutor Bang Tae-Seob and Ha Ji-Won play actress Chu Sang-A. After their marriage, Bang Tae-Seob becomes a star prosecutor, while Chu Sang-A becomes a washed up actress.

Ryoma Takeuchi and Mao Inoue are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Saikai: Silent Truth.” The mystery drama series is based on 2010 novel “Saikai” by Dai Yokozeki (“Daughter of Lupin“) and scripted by Atsuko Hashibe (“Yuria’s Red String of Fate“). See list of winners and nominees at the just concluded 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards. The award show, hosted by Han Ji-MinLee Je-Hoon, took place this evening in South Korea. The big winner of the night is movie “No Other Choice” with 6 awards, including “Best Film,” “Best Director” for Park Chan-Wook, and “Best Actress” for Son Ye-Jin. Actor Hyun-Bin also took the “Best Actor” award for his performance in “Harbin.”
