Hana Sugisaki cast in NTV drama “Fuyu no Nankasa, Haru no Nankasa”

Hana Sugisaki is cast in NTV drama series “Fuyu no Nankasa, Haru no Nankasa.” The drama series is scripted and co-directed by Rikiya Imaizumi. He previously worked with Hana Sugisaki in 2023 WOWOW drama series “Hana Sugisaki’s Filming Break.” The drama series is setup to tell an everyday love story about a young woman who lives earnestly despite making mistakes.

“Fuyu no Nankasa, Haru no Nankasa” will first air January 14, 2026 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Wednesday 10PM time slot after “Escape“).

Teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Cashero” starring Lee Joon-Ho and Kim Hye-Jun. The drama series is based on webcomic “Cashero” by team befar and revolves around Kang Sang-Woong (Lee Joon-Ho), who gains superhuman strength when he has money. That money vanishes when he uses his superhuman strength. He struggles with saving for a wedding fund and housing prices, while trying to save people. Also appearing in the drama series and playing characters with superpowers are Kim Byung-Chul, Kim Hyang-Gi, Lee Chae-Min, and Kang Han-Na.

Park Eun-Bin and Yang Se-Jong are cast in tvN drama series “Eerie Romance” (literal title). Drama series is loosely based on 2011 movie “Spellbound” starring Son Ye-Jin and Lee Min-Ki. The script for “Eerie Romance” is setup as a collaborative investigative-romance story, revolving around heiress Cheon Yeo-Ri (Park Eun-Bin) and Prosecutor Ma Gang-Wook (Yang Se-Jong). Cheon Yeo-Ri holds a secret that she is able to see ghosts.

“Eerie Romance” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Kim Hyun-Joo & Bae Hyun-Sung are cast in movie “Paradise Lost” (literal title). The mystery film will be directed by Yeon Sang-Ho, who worked with Kim Hyun-Joo in Netflix drama series “Hellbound” and Kim Hyun-Joo & Bae Hyun-Sung in “Hellbound 2.” In “Paradise Lost,” Kim Hyun-Joo will play single mother Ryu So-Young. She loses her son in a mysterious bus disappearance accident. 9 years later, her son, played by Bae Hyun-Sung, returns as a grown adult.

Filming for “Paradise Lost” will begin December, 2025 and the movie is expected to be released sometime next year in South Korea.

Ryusei Fujii and Ryuya Shimekake are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Zenbu, Anata no Tame Dakara.” The romance-suspense drama series is based on 2025 novel “Zenbu, Anata no Tame Dakara” by Eiji Natsubara and screenplay adaptation written by Hisako Fujihira (“Watashitachi ga Koisuru Riyu“). Ryusei Fujii will play lead male character Kazutomi Hayashida. During his wedding with his bride Sayaka, her champagne is intetionally poisoned. Wedding photographer Sakuraba finds clues from the photos he took during the wedding and helps Kazutomi Hayashida find out who was responsible.

Ryuhei Matsuda cast in TV Asahi drama “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo”

Ryuhei Matsuda is cast in TV Asahi drama series “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo.” Director Shuichi Okita, who previously worked with Ryuhei Matsuda in movie “The Mohican Comes Home” and drama series “0.5 no Otoko,” co-writes the screenplay and co-directs the drama series. “Tantei-san, Ruck Aitemasu yo” is setup as a human mystery drama series revolving around Yosuke Ichinose (Ryuhei Matsuda). He is a detective, but also an inventor.
