Air date set for SBS drama “Human From Today”

Release date set for SBS drama series “Human From Today” starring Kim Hye-Yoon & Lomon. The fantasy/romantic-comedy drama series is now set to air from January 16, 2026, taking over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 9:50 time slot from “Taxi Driver 3.” Meanwhile, photos were released of the first script reading for “Human From Today” that took place on September 28, 2024. Attending the first script reading were Kim Hye-Yoon, Lomon, Lee Si-Woo, Jang Dong-Joo, Choi Seung-Yoon, In Gyo-Jin, Lee Seung-Joon, Hong Soo-Hyun, Yu Hwan, Kim Tae-Jung, Ji Seung-Jun, & Kim Tae-Hee. According to the production team of the drama series, they stated that there are many stories based on the gumiho folklore, but “Human From Today” will provide its own unique and fun spin, with an original setting and world view. Main trailer and poster for movie “Golden Kamuy 2”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Golden Kamuy 2” starring Kento Yamazaki and Anna Yamada. Movie is based on manga “Golden Kamuy” by Satoru Noda and is also a sequel to 2024 film “Golden Kamuy.” Caption on the main poster asks “For whom do you fight?” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Kowarete Kieru made” by rock band 10-FEET. The theme song “Kowarete Kieru made” is featured in the main trailer.

“Golden Kamuy 2” will be released March 13, 2026 in JApan.

Ma Dong-Seok, Lee Jin-Uk, and Lalisa Manobal are cast in Netflix movie “Tygo.” Movie is scripted by Cha Woo-Jin and directed by Lee Sang-Yong. Cha Woo-Jin and Lee Sang-Yong, along with Ma Dong-Seok previously worked together in movie “The Roundup: No Way Out.” Story for “Tygo” follows a mercenary, Tygo (Ma Dong-Seok), who goes on a revenge mission to save his kidnapped partner, Ria (Lalisa Manobal). The film is also set in the same universe as the popular Netflix action movie franchise “Extraction.”

“Tygo” will premiere sometime next year on Netflix.

Kong Hyo-Jin and Jung Joon-Won are cast in MBC drama series “Killer of Married Woman” (literal title). The drama series is based on popular webcomic “Yubunyeo Killer” written by Yoon & illustrated by Geomdung and directed by Yoon Jong-Ho (“Lovely Runner“). Setup for the action drama series will have Kong Hyo-Jin play a married working mom, who secretly works as an assassin. Her husband Kwon Tae-Seong (Jung Joon-Won) works as a reporter.

Ahn Bo-Hyun and Jung Eun-Chae are cast in SBS drama series “Flex x Cop 2.” Drama series is a sequel to 2024 SBS drama series “Flex x Cop.” Park Ji-Hyun, who played lead female character Lee Gang-Hyun in the first season, will not return for season 2. Mei Nagano is cast in Netflix distributed movie “My Crazy Feminist Girlfriend.” The film is based on 2019 novel “Naui Michin Feminist Yeojachingu” by South Korean author Min Ji-Hyeong, while Keiichi Kobayashi (“Love is Light“) writes the screenplay adaptation and also directs the movie. “My Crazy Feminist Girlfriend,” will have Mei Nagano play the lead female character role. Her character is a young woman who reunites with her ex-boyfriend, but she has now become a feminist.

“My Crazy Feminist Girlfriend” will be released sometime next year.
