Main trailer and poster added for live-action film “Usogui” starring Ryusei Yokohama & Hayato Sano. Movie is based on manga series “Usogui” by Toshio Sako and directed by Hideo Nakata (“Stolen Identity“). Caption on the main poster states “You are a liar.” Manwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Live” by rock duo B’z. The theme song appears in the main trailer as well.
“Usogui” will be released February 11, 2022 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Baku Madarame (Ryusei Yokohama) is a mysterious gambler. His nickname is Usogui (literally The Lie Eater). Club Kakerou is the top illegal gambling den, where gamblers vie to become the best in their profession. Seeing through the lies of others, Baku Madarame challenges a variety of high stakes games at Club Kakerou.
