Teaser trailer for movie “Sickness That Leads To The Death Penalty”

Teaser trailer added for movie “Sickness That Leads To The Death Penalty” starring Sadao Abe & Kenshi Okada. Movie is based on 2017 novel “Shikei ni Itaru Yamai” by Riu Kushiki and directed by Kazuya Shiraishi (“The Devil’s Path“). The teaser trailer begins with narration that states “One letter which came to a university student.”

Ryohei Suzuki & Kento Kaku cast in movie “Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room”

Ryohei Suzuki, Kento Kaku, Ayami Nakajo cast in movie “Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room.” Also cast in the film are Jun KanameShinya KoteHayato Sano, Shiori SatoPhongchiKanta SatoNanaoShingo TsurumiSatoshi HashimotoMakiko WatanabeRiisa Naka and Yuriko Ishida. The movie version is based on 2021 TBS drama series “Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room” and all of today’s announced cast members appeared in the original drama series version. The movie version will be directed by Aya Matsuki and scripted by Tsutomu Kuroiwa. Both of whom worked on the drama series version as well. Plot for the movie has not been revealed, but will revolve around the mobile emergency room, which is a mobile vehicle that attends to major accidents.

“Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room The Movie” will be released sometime during 2023 in Japan.

First teaser trailers for JTBC drama “Weather People”

First two teaser trailers for JTBC drama series “Weather People” starring Park Min-Young & Song Kang. The two teaser trailers shows the two main characters, Jin Ha-Kyung (Park Min-Young) & Lee Shi-Woo (Song Kang), spending time together. The first teaser trailer has the couple walking together at night in the city and the second teaser trailer shows them together outside of their meteorological administration building in the afternoon.

The two teaser trailers also reveals that “Weather People” will first air February, 2022 (takes over JTBC’s Saturday & Sunday 10:30 PM time slot after “Snowdrop.”

Jeon Do-Yeon & Sol Kyung-Gu cast in Netflix movie “Kill Bok-Soon”

Jeon Do-YeonSol Kyung-GuEsom and Koo Gyo-Hwan are cast in Netflix movie “Kill Bok-Soon.” The film is written and directed by Byun Sung-Hyun (The Merciless“). Jeon Do-Yeon will play the title character, who is a lethal contract killer. She works for a murder-for-hire company run by Sol Kyung-Gu’s character. Esom will play the younger sister and employee for the company run by Sol Kyung-Gu’s character. Koo Gyo-Hwan will play a killer that is also employed by the same company.

See list of winners and nominees at the just concluded “2021 KBS Drama Awards.” The big winners at the award show are weekend drama series “Young Lady and Gentleman” and Monday & Tuesday drama series “Youth of May” & “The King’s Affection.” Actor Ji Hyun-Woo received the Grand Prize for his performance in “Young Lady and Gentleman” and the drama series also received the most awards with 8 in all. “Youth of May” received 5 awards and “The King’s Affection” also received 5 awards.

Main cast announced KBS2 drama “The Present Is Beautiful”

Main cast members are announced for weekend KBS2 drama series “The Present Is Beautiful” (literal title). The drama series will follow three brothers who are all single. Cast to play the brothers are Yoon Si-Yoon (middle brother), Oh Min-Suk (oldest brother), and Seo Bum-June (youngest brother). Their love interests will be played by Bae Da-Bin, Shin Dong-Mi, and Choi Ye-Bin respectively. Choi Ye-Bin recently starred in the three seasons of popular SBS drama series “Penthouse” as Ha Eun-Byeol. Park In-Hwan, Park Sang-Won, and Kim Hye-Ok are also cast to play the grandfather and parents of the three brothers.

“The Present Is Beautiful” first airs March, 2022 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 7:55 PM tim slot after “Young Lady and Gentleman“).

See list of winners and nominees at the “2021 MBC Drama Awards.” The award show took place today, December 30, 2021. Two big winners from the award show are “The Veil” and “The Red Sleeve.” “The Veil” received 4 awards, with the Grand Prize awarded to Namkoong Min. “The Red Sleeve” received 7 awards, including “Best Drama,” “Best Actor” (Lee Joon-Ho) and “Best Actress” (Lee Se-Young).
