English subtitled main trailer added for Netflix movie “Carter” starring Joo Won. The trailer introduces Joo Won as Carter. He wakes up with no memory of himself or his real name. A device is implanted in his ear and gives him instructions. His mission is to retrieve a young child, who can provide a vaccine to a mutant virus that has infected over 8 million people. For Joo Won, he gained about 7 kg and underwent training for 3 months to play his role.

“Carter” will be released August 5, 2022 on Netflix.

Character teaser trailer for MBC drama “Hunted”

Character teaser trailer added for MBC drama series “Hunted” (English title) starring Park Ho-San, Kim Soo-Jin, & Ye Soo-Jung. Around the 6 second mark, the trailer introduces Young-Soo (Park Ho-San) and his family driving in a pickup truck. He tells his family that he won the lottery. His wife Chae-Jung (Kim Soo-Jin) is smiling from the news. Around the 13 second mark, their son In-Sung (Lee Hyo-Je) appears with a dark look. Young-Soo tells his son “As a dad, I understand you.” In-Sung responds with “About what?” Around the 20 second mark, Young-Soo asks “In-Sung hasn’t come home yet?” This is later followed with Young-Soo stating “I feel like I’ve crossed a river that I can’t go back across.” Around the 39 second mark, homeroom teacher (Lee Ji-Won) states “Also, Hyun-Min didn’t come to school today.” At the 49 second mark, Ok-Soon (Ye Soo-Jung) states “I’m not going to let you get away with it this time.”

“Hunted” consists of 4 episodes and will first air August 1, 2022 in South Korea.

Hiyori Sakurada cast in TBS-MBS drama “What Six Survivors Told”

Hiyori Sakurada is cast for the lead role in TBS-MBS live-acton drama series “What Six Survivors Told” (literal title). The drama series is based on manga series “Ikinokotta 6 nin ni Yoru to” by Kazune Yamamoto. Also cast in supporting roles are Reo Sano, Yurika Nakamura, Yuki Kura, Akari Takaishi, Arisa Yagi, Kosuke Tanaka, Maika Sasaki, & Yusuke Onuki. The drama series features a zombie-survival meets romantic-comedy script, with Hiyori Sakurada playing high school student Riri Mizukami. She takes shelter in a shopping mall, while everywhere outside is filled with zombies.

“What Six Survivors Told” consists of 6 episodes and will first air August 9, 2022 in Japan.

Main trailer and poster added for live-action film “Whisper of the Heart” starring Nana Seino & Tori Matsuzaka. Movie is based on manga series “Mimi o Sumaseba” by Aoi Hiiragi and directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa (“Erased“). The movie’s theme song has also been revealed as “Tsubasa wo Kudasai” by actress Anne Watanabe . Theme song “Tsubasa wo Kudasai” is played during the main trailer video.

“Whisper of the Heart” will be released October 14, 2022 in Japan. The movie’s original release date was September 18, 2020, but the outbreak of Covid-19 caused its delay.

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Sadako DX” starring Fuka Koshiba & Kazuma Kawamura. In the fourth installment of the Sadako horror film franchise, an app for buying and selling products becomes a conduit for Sadako to creep up upon unsuspecting people. The movie’s theme song has also been announced as “Replay” by Sandaime J Soul Brothers. The theme song is also played during the main trailer.

“Sadako DX” will be released October 28, 2022 in Japan.
