Teaser trailer 3 for tvN drama “Behind Every Star”

Teaser trailer #3 added for tvN drama series “Behind Every Star” starring Lee Seo-Jin, Kwak Sun-Young, Seo Hyun-Woo, & Joo Hyun-Young. The teaser trailer features the cameo appearances of Cho Yeo-JeongJin Sun-KyuLee Hee-JunKim Soo-MiSeo Hyo-Rim, and Soo-Hyun. They will all appear in different episodes as actors and actresses managed by Ma Tae-O (Lee Seo-Jin), Cheon Je-In (Kwak Sun-Young), Kim Joong-Don (Seo Hyun-Woo) and So Hyun-Joo (Joo Hyun-Young). For Cho Yeo-Jeong, she will appear in an episode by herself. Jin Sun-Kyu and Lee Hee-Jun will appear in an episode together. Their appearance follows their real past when they played together in the same theater company. Kim Soo-Mi and Seo Hyo-Rim will appear together in an episode and follow their real relationship as mother-in-law and daugher-in-law. Lastly, Soo-Hyun will also appear in an individual episode.

“Behind Every Star” first airs November 7, 2022 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 10:30 PM time slot after “Mental Coach Jegal“).

Teaser trailer & poster for Disney+ drama “Revenge of Others”

Teaser trailer and poster added for Disney+ drama series “Revenge of Others” starring Shin Ye-Eun & Lomon. Caption on the poster states “19 years old, I hold a gun for a revenge.” The teen revenge thriller drama series revolves around a high school student who tries to get revenge on those responsible for the death of her twin brother. Caption in the teaser trailer states (0:40) “19 years old, I choose revenge over my dream.” Narration in the teaser trailer starts with Shin Ye-Eun stating “Why did my older brother commit suicide?” An anonymous follows (0:07) with “There are no circumstance or evidence of murder.” Shin Ye-Eun then states (0:09) “I will go and catch the criminal. The reason I am transferring to Seoul is to catch the killer who murdered my brother.”

“Revenge of Others” will be available to stream from November 9, 2022 on Disney+ Korea.

Yoon Kye-Sang cast in drama “The Day of The Kidnapping”

Yoon Kye-Sang is cast in new drama series “The Day of The Kidnapping” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2019 novel “Yoogweui Nal” by Jung Hae-Yeon. The screenplay adaptation is written by Kim Je-Young (“Wonderful Nightmare“) and directed by Park Yoo-Young (“A Model Family“). The drama series will have Yoon Kye-Sang play Kim Myung-Joon. He is a father that desperately needs money to pay for his daughter’s operation. He decides to kidnap a young girl from a rich family to pay for the operation, but things don’t go as planned.

“The Day of The Kidnapping” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

Seol Hyun & Im Si-Wan cast in ENA drama “I Don’t Want To Do Anything”

Seol Hyun & Im Si-Wan are cast in ENA-Genie TV-Seezn drama series “I Don’t Want To Do Anything” (literal title). The drama series is based on  webcomic “Amugeotdo Hago Sibji Adda” by Joo Young-Hyun. While ENA and Seezn are by now an established Cable TV channel and OTT platform, Genie TV is the newly rebranded version of Olleh TV, which is an IPTV platform in Korea operated by KT cable company. In drama series “I Don’t Want To Do Anything.” Seol Hyun will play Lee Yeo-Reum. She moves to a small village to start a new life of not doing anything after experiencing a difficult time in her life. Im Si-Wan will play An Dae-Beom. He works as a librarian in the village and stutters when he speaks.

“I Don’t Want To Do Anything” will be released this November in South Korea.

Main trailer and poster added for Disney+ drama series “Shadow Detective” starring Lee Sung-Min, Jin Goo, Kyung Soo-Jin, & Lee Hak-Joo. The crime-mystery drama series directed by Han Dong-Hwa (“Squad 38“) follows a veteran detective (Lee Sung-Min) who becomes a suspect in a colleague’s murder. A mysterious caller holds the key to the case. Caption on the main poster below states “He’s in my past.”

Chae Jong-Hyeop, Seo Eun-Su, & Park Sung-Woong cast in ENA drama “Unlock the Boss”

Chae Jong-Hyeop, Seo Eun-Su, & Park Sung-Woong are cast in ENA drama series “Unlock the Boss” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Sajangnimeul Jamgeumhaeje” by Park Sung-Hyun. The unusual comedy-mystery follows a CEO (Park Sung-Woong) who gets stabbed by an unknown person and his spirit gets stuck in a cellphone. Chae Jong-Hyeop will play a young man who finds the cellphone and helps the CEO return to his former self.

“Unlock the Boss” will first air November 30, 2022 in South Korea (takes over ENA’s Wednesday and Thursday 9PM time slot after “Love is for Suckers“).

Teaser poster and air date set for JTBC drama series “Reborn Rich” (English title) starring Song Joong-Ki & Shin Hyun-Bin. The drama series is now set to first air November 18, 2022 in South Korea. “Reborn Rich” will also have the unique setup of airing three episodes per week (Friday to Sunday) at 10:30 PM local time in Korea. Caption on the teaser poster states “I’m reborn as a blood related member of the family that killed me.”

Byun Yo-Han, Lee Kyu-Hyung, & Seo Hyun-Woo cast in drama “Uncle Sam-Sik”

Byun Yo-Han, Lee Kyu-Hyung, and Seo Hyun-Woo are cast in new drama series “Uncle Sam-Sik” (literal title) starring Song Kang-Ho. Among the newly announced actors, Byun Yo-Han will play Kim San. He graduated from the Korean military academy and then went to the U.S. to study, before returning to Korea in hopes of helping the country become a major industrial nation. He meets Sam-Sik (Song Kang-Ho) who supports Kim San’s dream. Lee Kyu-Hyung will play Kang Sung-Min. He has become a presidential candidate with the help of Sam-Sik. Seo Hyun-Woo will play Jung Han-Min. He graduated from the military academy with Kim San, but he stays in the military. The drama series is set in the 1960’s and is also the first drama series acting role for lead actor Song Kang-Ho.

“Uncle Sam-Sik” will be released sometime next year and consist of 10 episodes, but broadcast network has not yet been announced.
