Kim Tae-Ri cast in drama series “Jeong-Nyeon”

Kim Tae-Ri is cast for the title role in drama series “Jeong-Nyeon.” Shin Ye-Eun and Ra Mi-Ran are cast for major supporting character roles, while Moon So-Ri is also cast for a special appearance. The drama series is set in the 1950’s and follows Kim Tae-Ri as Yoon Jeong-Nyeon. She attempts to become a theater actress.

Filming for “Jeong-Nyeon” will begin October, 2023 and the drama series will likely air sometime in 2024. The broadcast network/streaming platform for the drama series has not yet been decided.

Shin Ha-Kyun, Kim Young-Kwang, & Shin Jae-Ha cast in ENA drama “Evillive”

Shin Ha-Kyun, Kim Young-Kwang, & Shin Jae-Ha are cast in ENA-Genie TV drama series “Evillive.” The drama series, which features an original screenplay, is setup as a dark crime-noir involving Lawyer Han Dong-Soo played by Shin Ha-Kyun. After he meets Seo Do-Young (Kim Young-Kwang), who is the #2 ranked guy in a gang, the lawyer becomes evil himself.

“Evillive” will first air October, 2023 in South Korea.

Teaser poster & release date for movie “Miss Fortune”

Teaser poster and release date set for crime-comedy film “Miss Fortune” starring Uhm Jung-Hwa, Song Sae-Byeok, & Bang Min-Ah. The movie is directed by Lee Seung-Joon (“The Spy: Undercover Operation“). In “Miss Fortune,” Uhm Jung-Hwa plays Ji-Hye. She is a swindler and her partner in crime is her daughter Joo-Young played by Bang Min-A.

“Miss Fortune” is now set for release sometime this October in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Migawari Mission” starring Tsuyoshi Muro, Eita Nagayama, and Haruna Kawaguchi. Movie is based on novel “Migawari Chushingura” by Akihiro Dobashi and directed by Hayato Kawai (“Let’s Go, Jets!“). The drama series is set in the Edo period and will have Tusyoshi Muro play two different characters who are brothers.

“Migawari Mission” will be released February 9, 2024 in Japan.

Fumiya Takahashi and Jun Shison are cast in TBS live-action drama series “Fermat no Ryori.” The drama series is based on manga series of same name by Yugo Kobayashi. Story for “Fermat no Ryori” is centered around a highly rated restaurant where a young man played by Fumiya Takahashi begins to work. His background is in mathematics and he uses that to develop recipes.

“Fermat no Ryori” first airs October, 2023 in Japan.
