Teaser trailer 2 added for tvN drama series “Twinkling Watermelon” starring Ryeo Un, Choi Hyun-Wook, Seol In-A, & Shin Eun-Soo. Teaser trailer 2 begins with Ryeo Un asking (0:01) “Mom? Dad? Airi Suzuki and Ryota Katayose cast in TV Tokyo drama “Oshi ga Joshi ni Narimashite”

Airi Suzuki and Ryota Katayose are cast in new TV Tokyo drama series “Oshi ga Joshi ni Narimashite.” The drama series is based on the webcomic of same name by Yuki Azuma & Ito Morinaga. The romantic-comedy screenplay has Airi Suzuki play Hitomi Nakajo, who is an OL and an otaku when it comes to stage actor Toma Kiryu. To her surprise, he becomes her boss at her place of work.

“Oshi ga Joshi ni Narimashite” first airs October 4, 2023 in Japan.

Teaser trailer and posters for movie “30 Days”

Teaser trailer and posters added for comedy film “30 Days” (literal title) starring Kang Ha-Neul & Jung So-Min. Movie is directed by Nam Dae-Joong (“The Last Ride“). Setup for the romantic-comedy film involves a married couple who have filed for divorce and will have their divorce finalized in 30 days. They then get into a car accident and both lose their memories. Captions on the teaser poster states “30 days left until Happiness” (Kang Ha-Neul’s poster) and “30 days left until Freedom” (Jung So-Min’s poster).

“30 Days” will be released October 3, 2023 in South Korea.

Trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “A Time Called You” starring Ahn Hyo-Seop, Jeon Yeo-Bin, & Kang Hoon. Drama series is a remake of 2019 CTV drama series “”Someday Or One Day” from Taiwan. The poster features Jeon Yeo-Bin as (present day) Han Joon-Hee and (past) Kwon Min-Joo, Ahn Hyo-Seop as (present day) Ku Yeon-Joon and (past) Nam Shi-Heon, and Kang Hoon as (past) Jung-In-Kyu. Teaser trailer 2 and poster added for movie “Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” starring Daiki Shigeoka. The first group of supporting actors has also been announced for the film and they are Ayami Nakajo, Amane Okayama, Nanase Nishino, Mayu Hotta, Junki Tozuka, Aoi Morikawa and Shotaro Mamiya. Movie is based on 1992 msytery-suspense novel “Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” by Keigo Higashino and set within a villa on a snowy mountain.  An audition for 7 finalists takes place there. Caption on the poster states “All actors, all suspects.”

“Aru Tozasareta Yuki no Sanso de” is now set for January, 2024 in Japan.

Mikako Tabe cast in Fuji TV drama “Ichiban Sukina Hana”

Mikako Tabe is cast for a lead role in Fuji TV drama series “Ichiban Sukina Hana.” The drama series features an original screenplay and will revolve around four people who come different backgrounds, but become friends. For Mikako Tabe, “Ichiban Sukina Hana” will be her first starring role in a Fuji TV drama series. She will play Yukue Ushio. She has had only one friend, a boy, since she was young. She then happens to meet three other people.

“Ichiban Sukina Hana” first airs October, 2023 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Thursday 10 PM time slot after “What a Wonderful World“).

Kuranosuke Sasaki, Kyohei Takahashi, & Asuka Saito are cast in TBS drama series “My Home Hero” and movie version “My Home Hero.” The drama series and movie is based on manga series “My Home Hero” by Naoki Yamakawa. The screenplay for the drama series and movie will have Kuranosuke Sasaki play Tetsuo Tosu. He is an ordinary husband who likes to write mystery novels as a hobby. His adult aged daughter gets involved with an unscrupulous man affiliated with a crime organization. This leads Tetsuo Tosu to make a shocking and impulsive decision to save his daughter.

“My Home Hero” will first air October 24, 2023 and the movie version will be released spring, 2024.

Air date set for MBC drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog”

Drama series “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (literal title), starring Cha Eun-Woo, Park Gyu-Young, & Lee Hyun-Woo, to air from October, 2023 on MBC. The drama series will air one episode per week on Wednesdays. The fantasy-romance screenplay for “A Good Day to Be a Dog” is based on webcomic “Onueldo Sarangseureobgae” by Lee Hye. Park Gyu-Young plays a woman who is burdened with a family curse. The curse causes her to turn into a dog at midnight for 6 hours if she is kissed.
